SKBU Admission 2024-25: 25 May 2024* is the last date to fill out the application form for SKBU admission 2024-25 for the Academic year 2024. Sidho Kanho Birsha University (SKBU) will soon start the application process for UG and PG-level courses. The admission process will be based on both merit-based and entrance-based. Students can check the university website to learn more about fresh admissions.

Candidates who have applied for admission to the postgraduate courses offered by the university can check the merit list for their names. Candidates who have their names on the merit list can move forward with the admission process.

SKBU was founded in 2010. Sidho Kanho Birsha University is a state university situated in Purulia, West Bengal. Application forms will be accepted only through the Online mode. The university also offers various Research Programs to the students.

SKBU Admission 2024-25

SKBU admission 2024-25 last date is 25 May 2024 for the academic session 2024-25. Some new PG courses are introduced in SKBU. These are master of Sports science, LLM, MSc Bio-Technology, Integrated Course in B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Psychology and Integrated Course in Bachelor of Library and Information Science and Master of Library and Information Science

SKBU admission 2024-25 is open for various courses. The university will start the admission under arts, science, commerce, etc. faculties in June. The mode of registration will be online. Hence, applicants can easily fill out an online application form by visiting the SKBU portal. Available courses during the session to get admission are BCOM Hons, BSC Hons, BA Hons, BSC Physics, BA Philosophy, Integrated BSC + MSC Hons, PG diploma women's studies, and more.

After passing schooling (10+2) from a recognized institute or board of India, one can proceed to apply for admission to the SKBU UG courses. Minimum marks should be obtained for each course. The path for the PG programme will be clear to students if they succeed in passing a 3-year UG degree from an authorized university of UGC.

Admission to SKBU is being offered in entrance and non-entrance modes. A few courses in the university under PhD go through the entrance test. SKBU allows admission to these PhD degree courses on passing any of the entrance tests, e.g., UGC-NET, GATE, and SET.

SKBU UG Admission 2024-25

SKBU Admission 2024–24 has started for the academic year 2024. Online registration will commence soon at the official website.  Available courses for students are BSC chemistry/physics, BA philosophy/geography/economics, BCOM Hons, BSC Hons, and BA Hons. One can earn a seat in SKBU UG on the merit of previous qualifying marks. Students should have scored a minimum to the subject requirement, and no admission will be granted to a student with a minimum aggregate of 40% of marks. 25 May 2024 is the last date for SKBU UG admission 2024.

SKBU BA Admission 2024

Sidho Kanho Birsha University BA admission has been started, and the last date to apply is 25 May 2024. Bachelor of Arts is a 3-year undergraduate (UG) level course with numerous specializations such as Political science, History, English, and many more. The eligibility criteria for this course is that aspirants must have completed their 12th class from the relevant board. Students can visit the university's official website to fill out the application form. 

Sidho Kanhu University PG Admission 2024-25

Master of Sports Science is the new PG course introduced by the university. Students can visit the university's official website @skbu.ac.in to learn about fresh admissions. SKBU has announced the last date of admission to the MSc course and students can only fill up the form till 25 May 2024. Candidates are invited from eligible candidates of Honours Graduates of both CBCS.

SKBU Admission 2024-25 process consists of the SKBU entrance exam and a personal interview. Students who have qualified for the entrance test are invited by mail. students who get their names on the merit list will have to select GE before making payment of the admission form. The subjects they choose once will not be changed later. Some PG courses are given below:

• Master of Science (M.Sc.): Biotechnology, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Mathematics, Physics, Zoology, Anthropology & Tribal Studies, Economics, Geography, Psychology. • Master of Commerce (M.Com.): Commerce

For  SKBU Integrated B. Lib. I.Sc. - M.Lib.I.Sc. Admission

(i) 80% of seats will be for the Honours Graduates of Home University with 03 years of Honours in a relevant subject who have completed their graduation before 2024. (ii) 20% of seats will be for the: (a) Honours Graduates of Other Universities with 03 years of Honours/major in relevant a subject who have completed their graduation in the years. (b) The Programme Course student passed with at least 60% in aggregate may apply for the PG course in his/her Discipline 1 (c) Students of SKBU who did not get a chance of admission in the 80% category are eligible to be considered in the 20% category also.

SKBU MA Admission 2024

SKBU Admission 2024-25 for Master of Arts Courses like Anthropology & Tribal Studies, Bengali, Economics, Education, English, Geography, History, Journalism & Mass Communication, Kudmali, Philosophy, Political Science, Sanskrit, Santali, and Sociology. Students who have completed their BA from SKBU will benefit as the university has reserved 80% of seats for such students.

SKBU MSS Admission 2024

Sidho Kanha University has launched a new course which is Master of Sports Science, with a duration of 2 years, Any student who has applied for the course must have a bachelor's degree in the relevant field or a diploma degree in sports science and is eligible to apply for the course. SKBU Admission 2024-25 last date is 25 May 2024. The application form is available online on the official website of the university.

Sidhu Kanhu University PhD Admission 2024

The online admission has started for PhD SKBU Admission 2024. The online application form is available. Students who have completed their master's can apply for a PhD in Sidho Kanhu University and are eligible to apply for registration. Before taking admission in the course the students need to fill out the registration form along with the fee of it and the SKBU Admission 2024 last date is 25 May 2024.

The university has invited some selected students for admission to the PhD offered at SKBU. They can take admission by filling out the online registration form. Its cost is Rs 700.

The online registration form for SKBU Admission 2024-25 is made available on the official website of the university. Candidates who wish to take admission to the courses offered by SKBU can submit the online application form by visiting the official website of the university.

The online registration shall be done in the presence of the following: active email id, unique mobile number, address proof, identity card, recent passport size colour photo, signature with blue & black pen, and 10th and 12th mark sheet. Applicants will need to submit an eligibility certificate if they belong to any other state.

Reserved category students will be required to come up with caste and income certificates to get a relaxation offered by the university. Documents should be originally scanned because pirated or copied will not be accepted for SKBU Admission 2024 in any terms. SKBU online registration fee is INR 100, and it can be deposited by debit card, credit card, or net banking.

• Fill in all the details about you such as education, address proof, number, date of birth, etc.
• Students have to upload their scanned photographs and signatures.
• After that click on the continue button.
• No mistake while filling in the registration number, roll number, and date of birth.
• An applicant has to pay the registration amount online mode.
• When all processes are complete applicants have to take the receipt.
• B.Tech/BE  degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks.
