KSOU Admission 2026-27: Karnataka State Open University will start soon admission for the July 2026 cycle. The last date to submit the application form for KSOU Admission 2026-27 will be 31 May 2026*. KSOU will open its portal for UG, PG, Diploma, and Certificate courses admission including BA, B.Sc, BCom, BCA, BBA, MA, M.Sc, M.Com, MCA, MBA, etc. Interested students can apply online on the official web portal @ksoumysuru.ac.in. Admission to Karnataka State Open University Mysore is based on merit.  The selection procedure of the university is based on the requirements for each course's eligibility. Students must fulfil the basic eligibility requirements for admission, which include having completed Class 10+2 for a Bachelor, Diploma, and Certificate courses and a UG degree to pursue master's courses at KSOU. Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) is a distance university located in Mysore, Karnataka.  It was established in 1996 and is affiliated with UGC and DEC.

KSOU Admission 2026-27

KSOU Admission will open for the various UG, PG, Diploma, and Certificate courses in the July session. KSOU Admission last date will be 31 May 2026*. Students can submit their enrollment form at @ksoumysuru.ac.in. The open university has started the admission process for courses like BA, BCom, BSc, MA, MCom, MSc, etc for the July session. KSOU course fees range from INR 5500 to INR 21200 (average) for various programmes. KSOU Admission to the offered courses is based on qualifying examination scores (merit-based).

However, students are required to fulfill the eligibility criteria. This year the university has introduced 4 new programmes:- BSW, MSW, MCA, and MSc Data Science. The students who have completed their 10+2 and UG degrees from a recognized Board/University are eligible to apply for KSOU admission.

KSOU Admission Portal

KSOU University has an admission portal for the students for the academic session 2026-27. KSOU admissions will be based online and for that, it is mandatory to apply through the admission portal only. 31 May 2026* will be the deadline to fill out the KSOU admission form for the July 2026 academic session at the official admission portal. The application form needs to be filled out before the last date of it, any wrong applications will not proceed for admission purposes. 

KSOU UG Admission 2026-27

Karnataka State Open University UG Admission will open on 01 May 2026* for BCA, BA, BLibisc, and BCom Courses in the July session. The university is inviting students to submit the application form to enroll in its various UG courses. KSOU Admission 2026 last date is 31 May 2026*. The basic requirement for the UG courses is students must pass HSC (12th) but for BLis students must have a bachelor's degree. Interested candidates need to visit the official website to apply and the UG registration fee is Rs 300/.

For online registration, the students are required to visit the KSOU portal and follow the instructions mentioned. All UG admission shall be proposed in KSOU UG on the merit of the qualifying exam. However, the students needed to pass HSC or equivalent with a required percentage for KSOU Admission 2026-27 at the UG level.

KSOU BA Admission 2026

Karnataka State Open University BA course admission process will open very soon by inviting the online application form. KSOU BA Admission is given based on merit score (academic examination score). The deadline to apply for KSOU BA Admission will be 31 May 2026. The applicants can fill out the admission form online through the official website. The students who are interested in enrolling BA program at KSOU must have completed their 10+2 from a recognized board. KSOU BA courses fee is INR 6400.

KSOU B.Ed Admission 2026

KSOU offers a B.Ed course with a duration of 2 years with a specialization in Special Education. The programme is being taught in English and Hindi Languages. Students who completed their UG degree with a minimum of 50% marks for general category students and 45% marks for SC/ST/OBC are eligible for this course. KSOU B.Ed admission is based on the Entrance test and counseling administered at the university level.

KSOU PG Admission 2026-27

KSOU PG Admission will commence for the offered postgraduate courses in arts, commerce, science, language, business & management, and education departments for the July 2026 session. KSOU PG Admission 2026-27 last date is 31 May 2026*. The programmes available for the students are MA, MCOM, MSC, MBA, MLIBISC, BED, MA Kannada, and PG Certificate English programs. The merit of the qualifying exam will drive KSOU Admission to PG; however, a few programs like MBA and BED will be offered entrance to the university. Those students who are seeking admission to the postgraduate degree must have a bachelor's degree within the relevant field with a minimum of 50% marks.

The PG admission requirements are candidates must have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% and BEd students have to take the university's common entrance test to be considered for KSOU Admission. If you have passed the CAT, MAT, or CMAT, the university will not require you to take the MBA entrance exam.

KSOU M.Ed Admission 2026-27 

Karnataka State Open University(KSOU) provides admission in a Med course for candidates interested in pursuing a higher-level education course in the field of teaching. This is a 2-year duration PG level course that offers the benefit of completing the education without even attending a single class.

In the distance learning mode, the students are free to study according to their timetable and at their place without visiting any educational institution or college. KSOU MEd Admission 2026-27 has been stated, so interested students should visit the admission portal on the university's official website. Candidates must fill application form before the last date.

KSOU MA Admission 2026

KSOU Admission 2026 is done based on the marks scored in the last qualifying exam, the university offers MA courses with specialization in English, History, Kannada, and Urdu. MA course degree duration is of 2 years, students must need to visit the official website of the university for more admission-related information. The minimum qualification is a student must have a bachelor's degree in BA/BSc.

KSOU PhD Admission 2026-27

The Ph.D. program at KSOU Admission 2026 is a 2-year program. It offers a Ph.D. program with specializations in English, Hindi, History, Management Studies, and other subjects. Any student who has completed class 10+2 from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% of marks is eligible to apply for the course. KSOU PhD admission entrance test will be held from 26 to 31 October 2026. To apply for the PhD programme student must have a master's degree relevant to the stream with an aggregate of 50% marks.

1. If you are a new student, then you need to click on the program list option given on the homepage of the KSOU official website and can easily check out the all details of the course which includes eligibility criteria. course details, fee, and duration.

2. You are also requested to download the Prospectus and read carefully the Rules of the KSOU and UGC on the KSOU MYSORE Website.

3. For Online Admission, click Online KSOU Admission 2026-27 July Cycle. It will be rerouted to the Online Admission Portal.

(a) Click on the Menu student for NEW REGISTRATION that appears in the Online Admission Portal and fill in the required registration details.

(b) Remember, while choosing your UserName, it must be between 8 to 16 characters.

(c)While choosing your password, it must be alphanumeric and between 8 to 16 characters long.

(d) After filling in the mandatory information, click the "REGISTER" button.

(e) Your username will be instantly sent to you via e-mail or SMS.

4. Remember your Username and Password for subsequent login.

6. Before proceeding with filling out the form online, the applicant must have the following:-
