West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences Admission 2026: West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences was established on January 2, 1995, by a Legislative Act. West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS) was set up by an Act of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly in the year 2003 for better management of the health and medical education-related courses that were so far taught separately by the University of Calcutta, and the Universities of Burdwan and North Bengal.

West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences admission in diploma and UG program candidates should have passed the Intermediate in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English and Vernacular. For general candidates required a minimum of 50% marks and SC/ST required a minimum of 40% for admission in B.V.Sc. and the A.H. course.

West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences admission in B.Tech (Dairy Technology) is the same process. In the admission of B.F.SC. the program, candidate take direct admission to the university without any entrance exams but as per the merit list after qualifying with a minimum of 50% marks altogether in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English for general candidates and 40% marks for SC/ST/OBC-A & OBC-B candidates.

Besides, the candidates must be in the domicile of West Bengal and must attain 17 years of age as of 1st July in the year of application. After this eligibility, the students must be in the domicile of West Bengal.
