Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology Admission 2023-24:-  The Government of West Bengal set up an expert committee on December 31, 1998, under the Chairmanship of Ashesh Prasad Mitra, an Eminent Scientist to explore the necessity and scope for the establishment of an Engineering / Technology University in the state of West Bengal. The University came into operation formally with the assumption of the office of the First Vice-Chancellor on January 15, 2001, as a sequel to the promulgation of THE WEST BENGAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY ACT, 2001, under West Bengal Act XV of 2000 passed by the West Bengal Legislature.

The University started its academic program, on July 16, 2001, following a Notification from the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal dated June 15, 2001, through the affiliation of Engineering and Management Institutions / Colleges and has entered the eighth year of its functioning. The University is included in Section 2F and also in Section 12B of UGC and recipient of the UGC Grant.

Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) Registration UG 2023-24: BBA, BCA, B.Sc, B. Pharm, BHMCT. MAKAUT offers various UG courses in both General and Honors rivers. Aspiring students must meet the eligibility criteria specified for safe entry into the desired course. MAKAUT receives admission to all courses offered on campus, on the basis of the entrance examination conducted by the university. These examinations are accepted JECA, JELET, JEHOM, JEMAT. The JEMAT examination admits students to MBA programs. MAKAUT conducts JEHOM for admission to the BHMCT program. Admission to MHA/MMA courses is granted on the basis of scores in JEMHA/JEMMA conducted by the University.

The last date is 31st August 2023 to apply for Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University UG Admission 2023-24. The university offers UG courses in many streams such as BSc, MSc, BBA, B-Tech, B.Arch, B.Pharm, etc.
The minimum eligibility criteria for all UG courses is that students must have passed the 10+2 with 50% to 55% marks in relevant subjects from a recognized university.
