Diamond Harbour Women’s University (DHWU) is the first women’s University. It was established in 2013. It is a famous University in West Bengal. It is a government state university that offers higher education in science and Humanities. 

Diamond Harbour University (DHWU) offers PG and PhD courses such as MA, MSc, M.Com, or Ph.D. A graduation degree in the relevant subject under the 10+2+3 system with an overall grade point average of 45% is required. An entrance exam determines admission to the DHWU university. Students will get the registration form on the  Diamond Harbour Women's University official website.

The last date is 30 July 2023 to fill out and submit the online application form for Diamond Harbour University Admission 2023–24. DHWU admission for the academic year 2023–24 is going to start soon, as per the official schedule for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) level courses like BA, BSc, MA, MSc, and many more. By going to the official website of the university, students are able to complete the DHWU Admission 2023–24 application form process.

This year's DHWU admission may open in the first week of September, or they may get delayed because of the COVID outbreak. Those who have a Bachelor's degree can apply to the 2-year postgraduate courses in the corresponding field.  PG courses shall be granted on the basis of qualifications received by the candidates. The selection in MPhil is made using a written Diamond Harbour University test DHWU (ডায়মন্ড হারবার মহিলা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়) RET, a PhD test, and an interview. A list, of course, merits are published on Diamond Harbour Women's University's official website to determine the amount of final admission.  

Candidates having qualified NET / SET / SLET / GATE / Any other Equivalent Examination will be exempted from the written examination. For admission to the PhD courses, candidates already having MPhil Degrees will also be exempted from the Written Examination.New applicants can change their subjects In case any seat remains vacant in the applied subjects the students. The Applicant must score the minimum marks required for that subject. 

DHWU Admission Process 2023-24

• For the Diamond Harbour Women's University registration, the candidate needs to visit the university official website.www.dhwu.ac.in
• Every year the university released the application form in May month.
• At the form submission time, the university also attaches all required documents to the application form.
• University accepts the registration fee by debit card, credit card as well as online net banking.
• The candidate takes the Rs-300/- per application form.
• The aspirants can apply online for M.A, M.Sc, and M.Com programs by visiting the official website of the university. A relaxation of 5% of total marks will be offered to state-level position holders and national-level applicants in the case of sportspersons.

Note:- Diamond Harbour Women’s University Admission 2023-24 will be done after the Entrance examination whose marks are mentioned on the merit list. based on the merit list, the admission procedure will be done.

DHWU UG Admission 2023-24

The last date to fill up the online application form is 30 July 2023 (tentative) for DHWU UG Admission 2023-24. The dates that we have used throughout the article are tentative, so one can visit the official web portal of the university to get the dates. Diamond Harbour University admission is open for UG courses. The university will charge no fee as per the rule of the Government.

The online DHWU Admission form for the academic session 2023-24 is available on the university's official website.Admission to the certificate course in Geoinformatics at DHWU (ডায়মন্ড হারবার মহিলা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়) will soon begin for the new academic session 2023-24. This is the only course available at the DHWU UG level. Admission announcements for the CCG will be posted on the portal.

DHWU Admission 2023-24 will accept applications for the certificate program online. Certificate program admission is given on the higher school performance. Students can apply to the DHWU UG program by visiting the online portal and following the mentioned instructions.

No candidate shall be allowed for admission after a lapse of more than 2 years from the year of passing (excluding the current year) the previous qualifying examination or discontinuation of recognized regular courses of study after passing the previous qualifying examination. 

DHWU BSc Admission 2023

Diamond Harbour Women’s University (DHWU) will soon start the admission process for  the BSc course. If students want to take admission, they must have passed their 10+2 in science with atleast 50% marks from a UGC-approved university. And after completing this course, students have a good option career-wise. 

Diamond Harbour University PG Admission 2023

The Diamond Harbour Women's University (DHWU) begins admissions to PG courses once a year in June. Programmes offered generally cover three fields: Arts, Science, and Commerce, including MA, M.Sc, and M.Com, among others.Postgraduate level courses are open to those who have scored an aggregate of 55% marks or above in the related field. Coming to the selection mode is done only through the merit of the previous qualifying examination. In order to take admission to the PG, a course student does not require to undergo the entrance examination. 

60 Seats are available in each Diamond Harbour University PG course. Students must apply for admission with the correct details.

Diamond Harbour Women’s University will open the online admission portal in September. There are 7 subjects available for admission. Students will have to qualify the entrance exam.

DHWU PhD Admission 2023

The university has filled up the PhD admission seats in various subjects. All eleven courses of DHWU, including Bengali, English, education, pol science, philosophy, Sanskrit, physics, zoology etc., have been allotted to those who passed the Phd RET.

DHWU held an interview for the shortlisted candidates for the Research Eligibility Test (RET). The application fee for the DHWU Phd RET exam is INR 500. Students who aimed to get the DHWU PhD admission must have submitted the filled application form, DD, with mandatory documents at the Diamond Harbour campus. If any student has an M Phil degree and then, he/she applies for PHD. They will get direct entry.  

The following documents are required at the time of DHWU PhD Admission 2023-24. Newly admitted scholars must submit the mentioned documents. DHWU PhD Applicants are informed that they will have to submit 3 sets of application forms along with the documents.

Diamond Harbour Women's University MPhil admission

DHWU Admission 2023-24 provides higher education to PG holders. There are several courses for specialization offered to students such as history, education, and Bengali.

Entrance exams are conducted to select students. A written test is conducted at the university level. Such applicants who have qualified for any national level entrance exam will be directly invited for a Personal interview.
