A candidate who has an economically/financial problem or low background are eligible for a scholarship by the University. A candidate whose parent serves in the Military is eligible for a scholarship. and also Karnataka State Women's University provides a scholarship for sports quota and students who are Physically Challenged.

Karnataka State Women University Scholarship for SC/ST Candidate

Those candidates who belong to SC/ST is getting a scholarship from DSW Government of Karnataka. Those candidates who belong from SC/ST are getting a scholarship from the EBL Government of Karnataka. Ph.D. Pursue candidate in the University is eligible to get the Rs.12000/per month and a contingency of Rs.18,000 per annum. M.Phil Scholarship gets Rs.8,000/per month and contingency of Rs.10,000/per annum.
