One of the most renowned universities in Davangere, Karnataka, is Davangere University. Davangere University has four departments - Arts, Science and Technology, Business and Training. It offers 23 Postgraduate courses in research and studies on its main campus.

Candidates who passed their three-/four-year graduate exam at this or any other university with a mark of 45% (40% for SC/ST/category-1 candidates) will be admitted. The marks obtained during the entry test and the aggregate marks obtained at the relevant subjects at the qualification examination shall be considered for Davangere University Admission 2023-24 into all post-graduation courses. Based on the score on the entrance exam, the candidates will be selected for acceptance. In each PG course, the university allows 50 students (merit and open merit). Seat reservation is also available according to government orders for particular categories.
