Mysore University admission for the 2024-25 session will be based on merit and entrance exam scores into all the courses offered. In 1906, MU was founded. It comes in first place at Karnataka Universities. It currently operates 42 departments on the main campus, 2 PG centres on M&H and 5 PG each, one satellite centre on the main campus, and 3 PG departments on the main campus. More than 85,000 students are educated, including students from abroad. The University recently launched its DCE program under the supervision of the DDE with the assistance of UGC. Mysore University offering admission to new students from 25 April 2024, and students can apply for admission registration till 4 June 2024 (tentative). Students have to visit the admission portal of the university to get themselves registered for the desired course and select the specialization in which they want to study further. 

The university offers courses in 5 faculties in which students can explore their passion and secure admission. Those faculties who are offering programs to students into UG, PG, Diploma, PG Diploma, PhD courses, integrated courses, and M.Phil courses are in Law, Commerce, engineering, education, and technology & science. Students have multiple options of courses with specialization to start their higher education journey.

University of Mysore offers a wide variety of postgraduate programmes in various specializations for the academic year 2024-25. Willing candidates who seek admission for MBA, MCA, MTech (CCT),and MTech (CST) are advised to contact the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). For BArch/MArch/BPlan Admission is done through NATA (National Aptitude Test for Architecture) – Council of Architecture, New Delhi. Mysore University PG Admission 2024-25 last date is 04 June 2024.
