National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences Bengaluru Admission 2024

NIMHANS is an institute for patient care in the field of Mental Health and Neurosciences. NIMHANS University offers several B.Sc and Diploma Programs in many disciplines at UG Level as well as MPH, DM, M.Ch and MD courses at PG Level and along with PG Diploma at Doctorate Level. National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences also offers NIMHANS offers M.Phil & Ph.D. and Post-Doctoral Fellowship (PDF) courses in various streams. An application form can be filled online for all the courses.

NIMHANS Eligibility Criteria: Seeking Admission to all programs, the Candidate must be obtained the mark in an Online Entrance Test. The candidate has to get at least 50% marks in the entrance test in order to be eligible for admission.

Note: Candidate must note that no reservation is available in DM and M.Ch seats as well as 3 % of the total seat in PG Programs for the person who is 40% and less than 70% disability.

NIMHANS Admission 2024: Courses, Online Application, Entrance

NIMHANS University offers B.Sc and Diploma programs in various disciplines at the UG level. At the postgraduate level, the institute offers M.Sc., MPH, DM, M.Ch, and MD courses along with PG Diploma.

• Candidates for Admission to all the courses is based on the marks obtained in the NIMHANS Entrance Exam. Candidates have to secure at least 50% marks in the entrance test in order to be eligible for admission.
• 15%, 7.5% and 27% reservation as per the Government guidance are available to SC, ST and OBC categories respectively.
• 3% of the total seats in PG courses are reserved for persons with above 40% and less than 70% disability (Sensory & Orthopedic) except for Nursing, DM, MD, M.Ch and PDF courses.
• Students Candidates must note that no reservation is available in DM and M.Ch seats.

Cauvery hostel: Cauvery hostel was inaugurated in Sep. 1989, by Sri RafiquAlam, Then Union Minister of health and welfare.

NIMHANS Scholarship: The main purpose of a NIMHANS scholarship is to basically give an opportunity for an extraordinary talent student and But do not have enough Economical/Financial support from the family. Family income is too less. The University offers a generous scholarship to meritorious students. The University is also offering the scholarship who belongs from SC/ST and OBC category. This University offer Scholarship for those students does not afford money for educations purpose.

NIMHANS Missions: This University's mission was to establish higher standards of educations for all students.

National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences Bengaluru Placement

NIMHANS is no sort of placement facility for the student but the candidate ensures that get the job in any one of the hospital and candidate can earn an average salary of Rs.25,000 per months. The University provides six-month internship industrial training for the students and during the internship gets a stipend amount of Rs.8,000 per month.
