Undergraduate students have the option of pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology or a Bachelor of Arts in Education. Admissions to AWU UG programs will be determined by the results of entrance exams and qualifying examinations. The minimum qualification to appear in the BPT entrance exam is the 12th. However, students must have scored 50 percent with having mandatory subjects such as physics, chemistry, and biology. For Jorhat University BPT Admission: Students must have scored a minimum of 45% of marks in Class 12th. Science students can fill out the registration form. A NEET-qualified student may get direct admission to the course and need not appear for the entrance examination.

For Jorhat University BA Psychology Admission: Candidate has scored a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in the HSC. All stream students can apply for this course at Assam Women's University.

• For the Bachelor of Physiotherapy, The university conducts the AWUET exam.
• For a BA in Psychology, the test will assess the candidate's English Proficiency, Reasoning, and Basic Arithmetic skills.
• For the MBA and MTTM written test, questions will be on Current Affairs, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and English. For the MLIS written test, questions will be on Reasoning, English, and Computer Basics.

However, the qualifying mark for the entrance test for the Department of Physiotherapy and Psychology is 50%.
