Cotton University offers admission through the entrance examination based on the merit list.It is a public state university. Students can apply for admission 2022-23 through the Cotton University official website www.cottonuniversity.ac.in.

Cotton University offered 56 UG, PG, and PhD courses. Students can apply via online as well as offline mode. The application form will be released soon for UG and PG courses.

Cotton University Admission application form for 2022 has been released. Cotton University released various PG courses until 09 October 2022. The University operates independently to meet the increasing needs of the education system.

কটন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় released the application form for 2022 entry for various PG courses. The University functions independently to meet the growing requirements of the education system. BA with 13 specializations, a B.Sc. in 10 specializations, and a BCA will be offered at the UG level for three years. Acceptance of the same is granted on a merit basis. At the PG level, an M.Sc. with seven specializations is offered in the University. The candidates must have a B.Sc. degree with at least 50% marks to be eligible for the same. The MA program is available in 14 disciplines.

Students who are applying for Admission to CU should visit the University's website. They can apply via online as well as offline modes. Applicants should visit the university campus for the offline process. They must purchase the application form, insert the appropriate documentation, and mail it to the specified address. The student can access the online mode on Cotton University's official website and upload the papers carefully. Cotton University BA Admission 2022

Cotton University Admission opens BA admission 2 times a year. One is called the winter session which is from January to February another is July-August.  Students get an option for specializations in Bachelor of Arts. There are 13 Subjects available in this course. Cotton University provides education on a semester basis. Sportspersons, Liberal Arts, Mass Communication and Journalism.

PG Applicants must fill out their application form before 20 August 2022. Only Applicants who have registered their names on the online portal of the university can complete their words. CGPEE 2022 Entrance Exam 2022 Date is announced it will be conducted on 5 August 2022 through offline mode.

Some of the courses are self-financing and some are regular. Master of Library & Information Science (MLISc),Master of Law (LLM) Cotton University AND MSc in Artificial Intelligence & Machine com under self financing courses. PG admission has been started. Candidates having requisite qualifications for admission should fill in and submit the online application form through the University website cottonuniversity.ac.in.

There shall be no provision of offline submission of applications for admission. Cotton University also offers many PG courses such as MA, MSC, MCA, and PG diploma courses. The selection of MSC and MA courses in many fields is done only via counselling. The admissions in MSC/MA in mathematics and statistics are followed further by counselling and entrance examination.

M.Sc is a postgraduate level course with a duration of 2 years. This course is about the specialization in Statistic and Botany; during this course, students will learn every detailed information about Botany and Statistic. The essential eligibility criteria required to pursue this course are that students have a bachelor's degree in the B.Sc program with at least 50% of marks from a recognized university or equivalent. Cotton University PG seat capacity is around 1000 students.
The gap in the study: Maximum study gap allowed is 3 years except for LLM. Cotton University PG Admission 2022-23 is 20 July 2022.

Cotton University MA Admission 2022

Cotton university offers admission to PG courses and admission is done on the basis of the Entrance examination which is CPGEE. Interested students need to first fill out the applicaion form in order to get the admission and those who are seeking admission need to have a bachelor of arts degree with them with minimum of 50% marks.

The Eligibility criteria for Cotton University PhD admission candidate must complete a Master’s degree from a UGC-recognized University with at least 55% aggregate marks. Cotton University PhD admission selection procedure, Selections will be via a Written Entrance Test followed by Viva-voice to be held separately for each Department/Discipline. The minimum qualifying marks in the Entrance Test are fixed at 50% as per UGC guidelines. The minimum qualifying mark for candidates belonging to categories mentioned in (ii) above will be 45%. For the final selection of candidates, a weightage of 70% to the entrance test and 30% to the performance in the interview/ viva-voce shall be given.

Mode of Application: Application may only be submitted ONLINE through the University Cotton University official website www.cottonuniversity.ac.in from 25 January 2022 onwards.Cotton University Phd Application Form Fee is Rs 1,200.00 (Rupees One Thousand Two Hundred only). Payment of application fee is to be made online through Debit/ Credit Card or Net Banking only at  the time of filling up the online application form.

Cotton University PG application form can be submitted both online and offline. The online application form is available online on the Cotton University website. The last date for Submission of the completed online Application form is 06 August 2022.

Students can apply for multiple PG courses. They will have to fill out a separate  Cotton university form. Its cost is Rs 800. In Cotton University there are 50% of seats are reserved for graduates passed in sessions 2022 and 2021.

Eligibility Criteria for www.cotton university ac.in Admission 2022-23

For the session, 2022-23 Cotton University has increased the number of students to be admitted in each UG programme by 25% above the regular intake capacity as a special case. The additional seats shall be reserved for students having passed HS from Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC).

How to Apply for Cotton University Online Admission?

Application for admission to HS 1st year in Cotton University must be submitted ONLINE through the ‘DARPAN’ portal of Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (website: https://darpan.ahseconline.in/login.) No other form of application shall be accepted by the University.
2. Students having secured ‘confirmed’ admission in Cotton University through the ‘DARPAN’ portal will have to subsequently register themselves through the Cotton University website and pay the requisite fees to be enrolled as a bonafide Higher Secondary student of Cotton University
3. The following documents must be legibly scanned and uploaded when prompted by the online system:
(a) Recent passport size photograph of the candidate
(b) Candidate’s full signature
(c) Mark sheet of the last qualifying examination
(d) Caste Certificate of the candidate where applicable
(e) Domicile certificate where applicable
(f) Income and Asset Certificate issued by a Local Circle Officer or Circle Officer

Cotton University Entrance Exam 2022

Admission into the Open Category (graduates from any recognized institution, including Cotton University) will be based on their marks obtained during the Cotton Postgraduate Entrance Exam (CPGEE 2022). Multiple choice questions are asked in the Cotton University Entrance test paper. Negative marking is there for each wrong answer.

The 50% seats reserved for Cotton Graduates Notification for CPGEE 2022 shall be published on the University website shortly by the Controller of Examinations.

If the eligibility criteria are fulfilled a candidate may have an option to apply for admission to more than one PG programme by completing the online application procedure separately. However, there shall be no change of schedule of CPGEE 2022.
