Kerala University Admission 2026- 26: The last date for registration at Kerala University is 7 June 2026 for UG programs. Students who want to take admission at the college should apply before the due date by accessing the application forms on the official website of the university. The university is also commencing the entrance exam to offer admission to the PG programs. The last date to apply for the PG programs was 10 May 2026. The entrance exam at the university started on 18 May 2026 and will go on till 24 May 2026.

Situated in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala University is one of the first 16 universities in India, which was established in 1937. There are 43 departments under the 11 schools at the university. The green campus of the university is spread over 359 acres, which is close to Kazhakuttom. There are over 150 colleges affiliated with the university and over 1,30,000 students enrolled at the university. The university has gained recognition from UGC, accreditation by NAAC and ranked 24th by NIRF in “University” ranking with a score of 55.50. All of these facts were incorporated into getting the university the award for literacy in 2005 by UNESCO-NLM. 

Kerala University is all set to introduce the guidelines of NEP 2020 into the academic year of 2026-27. It has already started implementing the guidelines by giving students 3 options for exiting the program. The university will also be dividing the syllabus of the UG program into 4 basic components: AEC, SEC, VAC, and MDC. Furthermore, those enrolled in a UG program who were able to secure a 7.5 CGPA in their previous 6 semesters will be eligible to join the Honors programme with research.

Admission at Kerala University is open for the 2026-27 academic year. The last date to apply for UG programs is 7 June 2026. The admission process for the PG programs is also currently ongoing with the commencement of KUPGEE 2026, taking place from 18 May to 24 May 2026. Students who want to pursue their higher studies from the university must complete their application forms on the official admission portal of the university - @admissions.keralauniversity.ac.in. The university offers admission to various programs on the basis of the candidate’s merit and score of a relevant entrance examination. Some of the courses offered by the university are MBA, BBA, BA, MSc, BCA, MEd, MA, etc., and other PhD programs in various specializations. The application fee at the university is INR 1000.

Admission process at Kerala University has been started for the 2026-27 academic year, and the last date to apply is 7 June 2026. Students who want to enroll in any UG program at this university are required to have completed their 10+2 from a recognized board. The university offers various UG programs, such as BSc, BEd, BA, BBA, BCom, etc; these programs are offered in multiple fields and specializations. Interested students can secure seats in their desired program through CAP (Centralized Allotment Process). The university offers some of the UG programs in CSS (Credit and Semester System) mode, which consists of 16 Major and 51 Minor programs. 

Kerala University PG Admission 2026-27

There are various PG programs which are offered by Kerala University and admission to those programs are currently ongoing. Students who are interested in pursuing any PG programs at the university should appear in the ongoing entrance exam, KUPGEE 2026, conducted by the university to check the academic worth of a candidate and offer admission accordingly. The last date to apply for admission was 30 April 2026. Students can start finalizing their admission to any of the PG programs offered by the university from 1 July 2026 after the rank list of the shortlisted candidates is released on 14 June 2026.
