Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit Public University located at Kalady near Kochi in Kerala. The university is named after the sage and philosopher Adi Sankaracharya and was established in the year 1993.

The University provides several scholarships for students who join the Shree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit. The University provides a scholarship for First Year B. A Sanskrit Student. The scholarship is based on the attendance percentage with a minimum of 75% which is issued by the HODs.

The scholarship will be distributed on a monthly basis of Rs.250/ per month. If the candidate breaks the BA course after getting the scholarship, should be refunded all amount received from the University before collecting the Transfer Certificate and other documents.
