IGNOU BTech Admission 2023-24: IGNOU is not accepting admission for the IGNOU BTech course for the July session. IGNOU BTech was offered in Civil (Construction Management) specialization. However, IGNOU July admission is open for various UG and PG courses and the last date to apply for admission is 10 October 2023. Previously, IGNOU provided four-year BTech courses for the students, but for this session, students cannot take admission to this course. Candidates should be employed in Central or State level Construction Departments in Public or Private Sector construction organizations or in other related organizations employing similar manpower.

IGNOU BTech Admission 2023-24

IGNOU doesn't offer BTech course admission in regular or any distance mode. The university offers other diploma courses in BTech Civil (Construction Management). Students who have done 10+2 in the science stream could apply for IGNOU BTech admission. After filling out the IGNOU Admission 2023 form, students need to download the receipt of the application form for future reference. After paying the registration fee, the registration is considered to be completed.

IGNOU BTech registration fee is Rs 300 for the general category, and for the SC/ST, the registration fee is Rs 200. Those who want to take admission to the IGNOU B.Tech course must know that the university is not taking admission to this course for the 2023 academic year. Students can choose other certificate and diploma-level programmes.

IGNOU B.Tech Admission Form 2023

For the 2023 academic year, IGNOU is not accepting applications from the B.Tech programs. IGNOU BTech Admission Eligibility Criteria

If students want to be admitted to the BTech course, then they must follow the eligibility criteria because if they do not meet the BTech eligibility criteria, then their application form will be rejected by the university. We must say to students that below we have provided all the details they need to check whether they are eligible. The Students need to complete their 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks. They must have studied Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as their main subjects in 10+2 with 55% marks. Admission is based on the Entrance Exam. The students must clear the cut-off of the entrance test. 10+2 with science stream with the main subject as shown in 10th.

Certificate of Draughtsman from ITI or from any recognized institute with the main subject. 10th pass in the main subject and 2 years of working experience in the construction industry in any capacity

IGNOU BTech Admission Procedure

Indira Gandhi National Open University BTech fees were  Rs 22,500/-. Students can pay their fees in multiple ways, such as through internet banking, UPI Pay, debit cards, credit cards, etc. At the same time, the IGNOU BTech fee for registration was Rs 500. IGNOU BTech Study Material

IGNOU BTech is not offered by the university. The students who will be allotted admission to the other diploma courses at the university will get the study material for the courses in the mode of their choice. The study material will consist of all the requirements of the students for completing their studies. IGNOU Study Material is provided to the students in various modes. They can download it from the official website of IGNOU or can get it from the Play Store.

Note: If the student requires to get the study material in paper form, they can either visit the regional centre or ask the authorities to get it delivered to the place they want to receive it. However, if they ask the authorities to send the study material to their place, then they will have to pay some extra charge.

IGNOU BTCM Assignment 2023-24

Students who are pursuing the IGNOU BTCM course are required to submit their assignments before the last date as the institution will not be accepting any assignments after the last date. For submitting the IGNOU BTCM Assignment students can log in to the IGNOU assignment’s portal for the online mode.

IGNOU Exam Form 2023

IGNOU Exam Form 2023 for the December 2023 TEE has officially been out on the official website. The last date to submit their December TEE 2023 was 30 September 2023. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Question 1: Can BTech be pursued at IGNOU?

Answer: No, IGNOU doesn’t provide admission to BTech or BE courses; therefore, you can’t enrol in that program.  The university used to offer BTech Civil (Construction Management) (BTCM) earlier.

Question 2: Is BTech from distance mode valid?

Answer: No, the Supreme Court of India and UGC have stated in a notification that engineering courses and medical courses can’t be approved by distance mode.

Question 3: Can an engineering degree be obtained by distance mode? 

Answer: Engineering degrees are offered by most institutions under regular mode only. However, there are some institutions that offer courses like diploma and certificate level courses.
