Previously, IGNOU provided four-year BTech courses for the students, but for this session, students cannot take IGNOU BTech Admission 2024-25. Candidates should be employed in Central or State level Construction Departments in Public or Private Sector construction organizations or other related organizations employing similar manpower.

Important Note: The last date to apply and submit the online application form for the IGNOU Admission 2024-25 January session has ended since the last date is 31 March 2024 has passed away for the various UG, PG, and Diploma programs (Except Certificate, Merit-Based, and Semester-Based courses).

IGNOU BTech Admission 2024-25

IGNOU does not offer BTech course admission in regular or any distance mode. The university offers other diploma and certificate courses in BTech Civil (Construction Management). Students who have done 10+2 in the science stream could apply for IGNOU BTech admission. After filling out the IGNOU Admission 2024 form, students need to download the receipt of the application form for future reference. After paying the registration fee, the registration is considered to be completed.

Indira Gandhi National Open University BTech registration fee for fresh students is Rs 300/- for the general category, and for the SC/ST and reserved category, the registration fee is Rs 200/-. Those who want to take admission to the IGNOU B.Tech course must know that the university is not taking admission to this course for the 2024 academic year. IGNOU BTech Admission Procedure

IGNOU BTech Study Material

IGNOU BTech is not offered by the university. The students who will be allotted admission to the other diploma courses at the university will get the study material for the courses in the mode of their choice. The study material will consist of all the requirements of the students for completing their studies. IGNOU Study Material is provided to the students in various modes. They can download it from the official website of IGNOU.

Note: If the student requires to get the study material in paper form, they can either visit the regional centre or ask the authorities to get it delivered to the place they want to receive it. However, if they ask the authorities to send the study material to their place, then they will have to pay some extra charge.

IGNOU BTech Assignment 2024 June

Students who are pursuing the IGNOU BTCM course are required to submit their assignments before the last date as the institution will not be accepting any assignments after the last date. For submitting the IGNOU BTCM Assignment students can log in to the IGNOU assignment’s portal for both method online mode or offline mode. The last date of the assignment submission is 30 April 2024*. Students can submit the assignments before the last date.

IGNOU BTech Exam Form 2024

IGNOU Exam Form 2024 for the June 2024 TEE will be released soon on the official website. Question 1: Can BTech be pursued at IGNOU?

Answer:No, IGNOU doesn’t provide admission to BTech or BE courses; therefore, you can’t enroll in that program. The university used to offer BTech Civil (Construction Management) (BTCM) earlier.

Question 2: Is BTech from distance mode valid?

Answer: No, the Supreme Court of India and UGC have stated in a notification that engineering courses and medical courses can’t be approved by distance mode.

Question 3: Can an engineering degree be obtained by distance mode? 

Answer: Engineering degrees are offered by most institutions under regular mode only. However, some institutions offer courses like diploma and certificate level courses.
