Veer Mahaveer Open Univerity, previously known as Kota Open University UG admission process will open soon for the July session. VMOU BEd Admission 2026-27 has started through the PTET 2026 entrance exam for the academic session 2026-27. The University will conduct the VMOU BEd Entrance Test on June 09, 2026. VMOU Kota provides education to aspiring school teachers. Applicants will have to pass the BEd entrance test conducted every year to select eligible students because there are limited seats in the university. The online registration fee for the BEd entrance exam is INR 500.

VMOU BA Admission 2026

VMOU Kota BA 1st year admission will commence for the July session, and the last date to apply is June 15, 2026* at @vmou.ac.in. Vardhman Mahaveer Open University offers a bachelor of arts degree in 18 specializations such as Economics, English and others. The duration of this course is 3 or 4 years (as per NEP). Students who want admission to VMOU BA are required to pass 12th from a recognized board and students will get direct admission.

VMOU BLIS Admission 2026

VMOU Admission 2026-27 will open for the BLIS program. June 15, 2026* is the deadline to submit the online registration form at @vmou.ac.in. Bachelor in Library and Information Science has been offered by Vardhman Mahaveer Open University. Interested students must possess a graduation degree with a minimum of 50% marks. The programme duration is 1 year and the total fee for the course is INR 8000/.

VMOU PG Admission 2026

VMOU PG Admission 2026-27 will commence for the July session. Students can apply for admission through the official web portal till the last date of June 15, 2026*. The registration fee for all PG-offered courses is INR 300. Admission at VMOU is decided based on merit score. A student applying for admission to VMOU must have at least a UG degree or equivalent educational qualification with a minimum of 50% marks for others and 45% marks for SC/ST students.

VMOU offers PG degrees in the fields like commerce, science, and arts. Those students who are preparing for admission to MCA, and MBA programs need to appear in the entrance exams conducted by VMOU University. Based on that entrance exam score, admission will be given to the students who want to opt for these courses in their Postgraduation. 

Admission to the program will be offered once a year in July at VMOU and the admission counseling will be based on the merit list of UG degree qualification marks. The university does not offer lateral entry admission to MSc. program and the admission process will be only done through online mode.

VMOU MA Admission 2026-27

VMOU offers admission to a 2 years MA programme at the PG level. There are various subjects available for this course such as Economics, Hindi, English, History, Political Science, Police administration, Rajasthani, Psychology, and Sanskrit. To enroll in this course interested students need to complete their UG degree with a minimum of 50% Marks. VMOU offers MA in traditional and private modes in both sessions. VMOU MCA Admission 2026

Vardhman Mahaveer Open University offers admission to 2 2-year Master of Computer Application at PG level. This course is provided to those bachelors who have completed BCA. Also, students have a lateral entry option to MCA in the third semester. The selection of the students is based on their performance in the qualifying degree.

VMOU MSc Admission 2026

VMOU Msc Admission will open for the July 2026 session, and the deadline to submit the online application form is June 15, 2026*. VMOU offers Master of Science courses along with specialization in subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Zoology, and Botany. VMOU PhD Admission 2026-27

Vardhman Mahaveer Open University PhD admission 2026-27 last date will be September 28, 2026. The admission process is open for  English, Journalism, Geography, Public Administration, Political Science, Sanskrit, Mathematics, Botany, Computer Science, Commerce,  and Economics. The admission process is done through an entrance test and interview conducted by the university.

The university has released the PhD entrance exam date for admission to a PhD course.  The entrance test will start at noon. Students must report on time with a hard copy of their admit card.

Those “who have appeared in the VMOU PhD entrance test” will need to be consistent on the university portal to check the result. Shortlisted students through PhD entrance tests can complete the rest of the admission process. Individuals can be exempt from university entrance tests after qualifying for UGC-NET/JRF.
