Enrollments at TNAUare based on entry and merit. In 10+2 examinations for B.Tech and BSc applicants with 55 % total must have passed in the respective topics. The admission certificate is based on scores in 10+2 examinations. To be admitted to M.Tech, MSc, and MBA programs, students must have completed their bachelor's degree from one of the top TNAU universities or government colleges.

Including the inside entrance scores, The candidate must be awarded a postgraduate degree in the field of MPhil + PhD admission. All admissions are made through TNAU counselling; therefore, students apply for counselling directly at TNAU or its affiliated colleges. 65% of seats in TNAU Admission are reserved for general students. The Management Quota will receive the remaining 35%.

TNAU PG Admission 2024-25 

Tamil Nadu Agricultural University fresh online registration will open soon for the postgraduate (PG) degree. The last date to apply for TNAU PG Admission 2024-25 is 10 June 2024*. So, those who fulfil the eligibility criteria for TNAU Admission are eligible to apply by going to the university's official web portal.

For TNAU Admission 2024-25 to PG courses, The university looks for the scores of students in the entrance test conducted by the university. Tamil Nadu Agricultural University offers admission to the Ph.D. degree program at the research level. TNAU Ph.D. Admission 2024 is done based on the marks scored by the candidates in the entrance examination conducted by the university. Application forms for the TNAU Government Agriculture College are available online. Only students who have studied or are permanent residents of Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply. Students in the general category will be charged INR 600.

TNAU Admission 2024-25 Eligibility Criteria 

For TNAU diploma in agriculture admission: The minimum eligibility conditions for admission to the TNAU diploma course are that a student should have completed 10+2 studies from a government-approved institution. 

• The candidate also has an age criteria candidate not be more than 21 years old.
• candidate should have 60%  marks in the 12th class.
• The applicants must have a bachelor's degree from any UGC-recognized board in the relevant subjects then only the applicants are eligible to attend the PG entrance exams.

For TNAU BSc agriculture admission: 

A 10+2 Pass Student who falls in any of the below-mentioned categories is eligible to apply for admission in the agriculture at UG level.

Group I: Physics, Microbiology, Biochemistry Chemistry, Biology with a fourth (elective) subject viz., Biotechnology,y and Home Science.

OR

Group II: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology

For TNAU PG admission: Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in the relevant subject from any recognized university in India. They must have obtained 55% of the marks.

TNAU Admission Counselling 2024-25

TNAU admission 2024-25 is conducted by the institution after they prepare the merit list based on either the qualifying exam scores or entrance exam scores. After the university releases the merit list, the applicants have to apply for the counseling round by filling out the application form. In the form, the applicants are provided with the options for the courses that they can apply for and have an interest in. The process for TNAU counseling for some courses will be conducted offline, and for the rest courses, it will be held online.

After the counseling, the university releases a list of the names of selected students, this list is called the TNAU Rank list. Students get a limited time to confirm their admission to the university.TNAU Admission confirmation will be released only when the final results are out.
