Tamil Nadu Teacher Education University Eligibility criteria 

The candidate takes the Tamil Nadu Teacher Education University Admission 2026 in the B.Ed program then admission depends on the merit of 10th, 12th, graduation marks.

M.Ed.  Admission:- Bachelor’s degree in any stream with at least 50% marks from a recognized university or institute.

B.Ed. Admission:- A graduate degree in relevant discipline with minimum 55% aggregate marks (50% for reserved category students)

University provides the UG, PG and Doctoral level courses. Application Process done will be done through the Offline mode. University conducts their own Entrance Examination and admission will be based on the obtained mark in the examination. This university provides the B.Ed. programme in 1 year only. But there is some conditions candidate must have a master's degree in the field of education. This university also provides the research program in three years duration. If the candidate takes admission in M.Ed then the candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in the field of education from a recognized university. If the candidate takes admission in PhD then the candidate must have the M.Ed degree.
