Formerly known as Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU),it was established by the government of Uttar Pradesh on 8 May 2000 and the University is approved by UGC & AICTE. Around 400 engineering institutes are currently under Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University. It is a State Government University that is also known as AKTU. AKTU is one of the largest technical universities in Asia.

AKTU Admission 2024-25

Students can choose from a variety of UG, PG, and Ph.D. programs, with a focus on technology. AKTU also offers side entry into all undergraduate and graduate courses.  Students have to satisfy the eligibility criteria, which means they have to pass the UPSEE exam to secure admission. AKTU UG Admission 2024-25

AKTU Admission 2024-25 for UG level courses comprising B.Sc, BA, B.Com, B.Ed, B.Voc, B.Pharm, MBBS and many others. Mainly, these courses are open to those who have completed their Intermediate in the related stream. The admission process depends on the particular course chosen by the aspirants. For BA, B.Sc, and B.Com, merit will be considered whereas UPCET marks decide the admission to courses like B.Pharm, B.Des, and BFA. Besides this, B. Tech admission solely depends on the marks scored in JEE Main, and admittance to MBBS is offered through NEET UG.

AKTU PG Admission 2024-25

At the postgraduate level, students are served with a lot of PG programs such as MA, M.Com, M.Arch, MCA, M.Lib.I.Sc, and so on. Different AKTU Admission 2024-25 procedures are followed for every course offered by AKTU. First of all, only graduates in the related field are eligible for seeking admission to the PG courses. AKTU Admission 2024 to the PG courses is based on the CUET exam scores. Apart from this, the students must have scored 60% marks or above to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria required by the course. Several entrance exams such as GATE for (M.Pharm),and MBA (CMAT),are accepted by the institution for the respective program.

AKTU PhD Admission 2024

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University offers admission to various PhD courses. Students must qualify for any national-level entrance exam to get a seat in the PhD programme of AKTU. The university also takes a RAT Entrance exam at the university level. Doctoral-level courses offered at AKTU are full-time courses. To take AKTU Admission 2024-25 in the PhD Course student must have a master's degree course with minimum passing marks.

AKTU Entrance Exam

For B.Tech and M.Tech, JEE Main and GATE scores are also accepted by AKTU University. UP state entrance examination (UPSEE) is held at the university to provide admission to various UPTU government-assisted, private, non-profit organizations.

AKTU admission 2024 process is based on the Entrance test for various postgraduate level degree courses. The university considered the obtained entrance score at the time of the final admission process. CUET PG registration has started by the National Testing Agency and 31 January 2024 is the last date to submit the registration form at the official portal of NTA. AKTU Entrance exam (CUET PG) will be conducted on 11 March 2024 to 28 March 2024.

This university conducts the UPSEE examination test to grant admissions in various courses. The university accepts the GATE and JEE Main tests to select students for M.Tech and B.Tech courses. Based on exam results, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University offers registration in many Ph.D. programs. This test is usually followed by an interview presentation.
