SVPUAT Admission 2024-25

SVBP is a state institute that was founded in 2000. This institute offers courses at UG and PG levels along with diplomas and Ph.D. (68 seats) in Biotechnology, agriculture, and veterinary science streams. At the UG level, B.Sc. (Hons.) in agriculture, B.Tech in biotechnology, and B.V.Sc. & A.H. in veterinary science is offered. At the PG level, M.Sc. in agriculture and biotechnology and M.Tech in agriculture engineering are offered.

Students must appear for CATET (Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test) to be eligible for admission 2024 at SVBP. The application mode is online.

This university admission 2024 procedure for the PG course started in June and the procedure ends in July. If the candidate takes admission in Ph.D. courses (68 Seats) then the candidate fill out the application form in December month. The university takes Rs. 350 additional fee for the Ph.D. course. The SVPUAT University offers admission BSc (Hons) agriculture, BTech (biotechnology) and BVSc & AH courses at the undergraduate level. Admission to all the courses is done based on the institution's merit list based on the applicants' results in the UP-CATET Exam.

The university announces the minimum requirements for admission to all the courses with admissions notification. All the applicants must complete the minimum requirement for getting admission to the course that the university announces for the course. Admission to the MTech course is offered in various specializations by the university. For getting admission to them, the applicant must have completed their graduation from a UGC recognized institution. The applicants who complete the minimum required conditions are only allowed to get admission to the courses offered by the university.

The university will release the application form for the SVPUAT admission 2024 on its official website.In the application form, the applicants will be required to provide information related to their previous qualifying examination report cards and upload all the documents as required for the form submission.

The application fee for the application form can be paid online and offline. For the courses which have admission based on entrance tests conducted by the institution, the application form will provide the option for selecting the examination center of their preference and choice.

SVPUAT Admission Eligibility Criteria 2024-25

• Students applying for admission to the Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel University of Agriculture & Technology must meet the eligibility requirements.  
• For the B.Tech course, the minimum eligibility is that students must have passed 10+2 with 50% or UPCATET from a UGC board. The average fee is INR 50,000/(1st year).
•  The minimum eligibility for the M.Tech course is that students must do their Graduation + UPCATET from a recognized University. The average fee for the M.Tech course is 75,000/(1st year).
• Students applying to the MSc program must possess a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with an overall grade point average of 50%. The average fee is INR 72,000/(1st Year).
• The PhD students must have cleared the post-graduation and UPCATET from a recognized university. The average fee for the PhD program is INR 96,000/(1st year).
