Hyderabad University PhD Admissions 2026-27 has started for the July session. Students who appeared in the UGC NET, NET JRF category will be eligible to fill out the application form. 28 June 2026 is the last date for Hyderabad University PhD admission 2026-27. Candidates keep scanned copies of their Photograph, Signature, Educational Certificates, Valid NET JRF Certificate, and Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC (NCL) /EWS).

Interested students who are looking for admission in the course need to have cleared the post-graduation degree with a minimum aggregate of marks in it. The university considers the marks scored in the previous degree and the marks scored in the entrance examination.

Documents should be scanned. Apart from documents, email IDs, and mobile numbers in active mode are significant for registration. The general fee to submit an application form by using debit, credit, or net banking is INR 600. Those belonging to a special category will need to pay less than this.

HCU Entrance Exam 2026

University of Hyderabad entrance exam is the main basis for admission to Undergraduate (UG),Postgraduate (PG) and Doctoral (PhD) programmes. Every year, in February, HCU Entrance Exam (CUET) application forms are released for its UG and PG courses except BTech, MTech, MSc Biotechnology, MBA and PHD.  Majorly, Hyderabad University admission are completed through CUET UG and CUET PG exams but in some programmes, the university considers other entrance test scores.

HCU UG Entrance Exams 2026 are CUET UG, NEET & JEE Mians while for PG programmes the entrance tests are CUET PG, CAT and GATE-B. For PhD, the university conducts the RET admission test. The exam dates have not been released yet but it will conduct on online mode only.
