B.Tech (DT) is a 4-years duration program. To opt for this program from NDRI, one must have completed Class XII with not less than 50% marks in science subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. In addition to this, English should be studied as one main language subject at the Intermediate level. The selection of deserving students is made through an entrance exam only. Students securing outstanding marks in the entrance exam shall be selected and given entry to the B.Tech program offered by NDRI.   

All India Combined Entrance Examination conducts an entrance test on behalf of  ICAR NDRI. In Tests, questions are asked from physics, chemistry, and mathematics. Applicants must attend counselling after qualifying for the entrance exam.

ICAR NDRI PG Admission 2024-25

At the postgraduate level, students can have a lot of specialization under Master of Technology (M.Tech). The available disciplines are aligned in Dairy Engineering, Food Quality and assurance, Livestock Management, Animal Nutrition, Animal Biotechnology, etc. Admission to the M.Tech program entirely relies on the eligibility criteria, merit scores, and entrance test marks.

Those who have completed their Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% marks can apply for the M.Tech program. After the application process, students will have to appear for the entrance test, and then the merit will be released based on the marks scored in the entrance exam. In the end, the students will be called out for the counselling session.

 ICAR NDRI Entrance Exam 

The admissions to B.Tech. (DT) programme is done through an All India Combined Entrance Examination conducted by the Education Division of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi. The subjects for the entrance examination are physics, chemistry and mathematics. The syllabus for these subjects is of 10+2 standard.
