Admission for the Undergraduates (UG) and Postgraduates (PG) level is going on 2024-25 academic year. The last date to fill out the Application Form for BTech courses is 16 June 2024. Candidates can submit their filled registration form before the deadline by going to the university's official web portal. NIFTEM allows the applicants to visit the Institute's official website online mode of application. Complete the form carelessly and upload passport-size images not exceeding 1 Mb in PNG, jpeg, gif, and jpg format. Eligibility Criteria For NIFTEM Admission 2024-25

• If the candidate takes the NIFTEM National Institute of Food Technology Admission 2024 in B.Tech then candidates have paused the 12th from a recognized board in the PCM subject. Even this candidate needs to clear the entrance exam that is JEE main.
• If the candidate is admitted to M.tech then the candidate needs to B.Tech degree in a relevant subject from a recognized university. The candidate needs to clear the GATE entrance exam.
• If the candidate is admitted to Ph.D. courses then candidates require a master's degree in a relevant subject from a well-known university.

NIFTEM Entrance Exam 2024

• The selection of eligible candidates will be made based on merit. The JEE scores increase the chances of confirmation. NIFTEM offers five specializations, with a total admission of 22 up-and-comers. The minimum qualification for a Ph. D is a PG in the relevant area with at least 60% marks in PG.
• GATE score and the personal interview are used for acceptance. The list of merits is drawn up based on the valid GATE score multiplied by 0.07, which will be added to the interview markings. The institute will perform an entry test, followed by an interview, for non-GATE candidates. Discussions shall be called for candidates who have more or equal cut-off marks. If GATE candidates fill all the seats, no entry examination will be carried out. M.Tech must be a candidate with a minimum of 60% of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in the corresponding discipline.

National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management take entrance based on the different course syllabi like food Products Technology: Processing principles: Canning, chilling, freezing, dehydration, control of water activity, Controlled Atmosphere Storage and Modified Atmosphere Storage, fermentation, etc.
