National Brain Research Centre Gurugram Admission 2024
The National Brain Research Center is a neuroscience research group it is undertaking the Department of Biotechnology of the Ministry of science and Technology, the government of India. The National Brain Research Center is a deemed university. this university has provided various types of courses offered like Postgraduate and research-level program. Candidates can apply the form application online and offline mode. A candidate who wishes to apply by through online. Candidate should visit our official website and fill the all required filled with correct information in the form application. Online applicants should pay the application fee through 'SB-Collect. A candidate who wish to apply for offline mode. Candidate take an application form from the National Brain Research Center and fill out the correct information in the application form and attaches the required documents offline application fees paid through DD.
- Admission to M.Sc. candidate who can complete the graduate degree in a recognized university with 55% marks candidate can apply for admission.
- Admission to the Ph.D. candidate who is passed post-graduation in any recognized university with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade from the secondary (10th) examination onwards will be considered. Candidates appearing for the final year of the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply.
Eligibility for Ph.D. (Neuroscience)
- Master’s degree in any department of science such as Life Sciences / Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics / Statistics / Computer applications / Pharmacy / Veterinary Science / Psychology from a recognized Institute / University.
- Candidates who have done a Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Technology / Medicine from a recognized Institute / University(minimum 4 years) are also eligible for ph.D.
- Candidates who are in their final year of the qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.
- For the general category, at least 55% marks are required from the secondary (10th) exam onwards.
- For SC/ST/PH category at least 50% marks are required from secondary(10th) onwards.
M.Sc. (Neuroscience)
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any department of Science such as Life Sciences / Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics / Statistics / Computer applications / Pharmacy / Veterinary Science / Technology / Engineering / / Psychology Medicine from a recognized Institute / University.
Candidates who are in their final year of the qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.

Only Indian nationals are eligible for the above programs.

Application Procedure for M.SC./Ph.D:
Joint Graduate Entrance Examination for Biology and Interdisciplinary Life Science is an entrance exam through which a candidate gets a chance to qualify for admission to Ph.D. & M.SC. program in the National Brain Research Centre.
If you are qualified for both M.Sc. (Neuroscience) and Ph.D. programs, you can apply for both programs by filling out separate online application forms (by using a different email-ids) or sending an application by post/courier. You will have to pay the fee separately for each program.
Offline Admission Procedure(by post/courier)
NBRC prefers online applications but If you do not have internet access, NBRC has another option for you. NBRC accepts applications online as well as offline. so, you can apply offline.
Candidates who wish to apply by offline mode need to obtain the application form from NBRC.
To obtain the application form, the candidate needs to send a self-addressed A-4 size envelope to the Registrar, National Brain Research Centre, Manesar-122052 Dist. Gurgaon (Haryana) indicating -
- The program to which they wish to apply.
- The channel through which they wish to apply if they are applying for the Ph.D. program.
The last date of receipt of requests for the hard copy of the application form at NBRC is March 2024.
The last date for filling (Online/Offline) application form at NBRC is March 2024.
- Apart from the above procedure, M.SC & Ph.D. candidates will have to go through an interview conducted by the NBRC.
