The university is located in Nazrul Road, Kalla Bypass More, P.O.Kalla C.H., P.S.Asansol, Burdwan, West Bengal.

The university was established in 2012, under West Bengal Act XIX of 2012.

The release of Application Forms declared on month of March . Last date for application forms declared on May. Declaration of results is on month May-June . Commencement of Classes is on month June- July .
