Karnataka University Admission 2026-27: The application form for admission in various UG, PG, and Diploma courses at Karnataka University for session 2026-27 will start soon. 31 July 2026* will be the last date for Karnataka University Admission 2026-27.  Admission forms can be filled out at the university's official website @kud.ac.in. Admission is based on an entrance exam or merit-based. After the entrance test, the university will release the merit list against which one can apply for admission. The registration fee is INR 240/ for all category students. To be eligible to continue any course, A students must have passed 10+2/ Graduation with 50% marks from a recognized university. 

Karnataka University is one of the renowned open universities in India for its Correspondence Education School. The principal institution of the university was founded in 1949 and opened in 1950. It is recognized by UGC and is spread across the state of Karnataka in several study centres. The University of Karnataka currently offers correspondence courses in the Arts, Social Sciences, and Commerce faculties. It provides both bachelor and postgraduate courses with some diploma courses in existing disciplines.

Karnataka University admission will soon open for UG and PG courses for the academic year 2026-27. All these courses are supervised under arts, social science, science, commerce, law, education, and management.

Students will need to submit the application form on time, appear for an entrance exam, and pass the same to obtain a seat in the KUD LLM PG degree programme. Some other entrance exams are PGDEF (for MCOM) and MSC applied science entrance test. Admission to MCA and MBA are being instructed upon PGCET conducted by CPAC. KU allows UG candidates to get admission based on previous qualifying exams.

Karnataka University UG Admission 2026-27

Admission to KU Dharwad UG courses is open for the academic year 2026-27. Here, applicants will get plenty of options, e.g., French, German, Kannada, Music, Yoga Studies, Statistical Computing, BA English, Anthropology, BHM, BED, and BBA, etc. No entrance will be conducted by the university for traditional degree and diploma/certificate courses. Still, BED aspirants will need to appear at the entrance exam of Karnataka University. Karnataka University UG Admission 2026 last date is 31 July 2026.

Merit will be the mode of admission in the university, and KU Dharwad will prepare a merit list on behalf of marks obtained by the individual in the previous qualifying exam. Still, students will have to score more than 45% in HSC for specific higher degree admission (percentage varies according to course).

Dharwad University PG Admission 2026-27

Karnataka University offers admission to PG-level courses so that the students interested in admission for courses like MEd, MTA, MCom, and many more master's courses last date to apply is 31 July 2026.  Those students who want to apply for the course need to have a bachelor's degree in the relevant field and need to fill out the registration forms before the last date. Moreover, this university provides all the admission-related information for the students on the university's official website so that every student will be able to get the information they need. Therefore, the Karnataka University PG admission 2026 soon starts. An entrance test will be the base for admission.

Dharwad University MA Admission

Karnataka University provides admission to postgraduate courses and the MA course has a duration of 2 years. Karnataka University admission 2026-27 will take place online on the official website of the university. KU Dharwad will soon begin the application forms for entrance and non-entrance courses admission. 31 July 2026* is the last date to submit the Karnataka University application form on the official web portal www.kud.ac.in. The students “who are keen to take admission to the KU Dharwad” will need to visit the official website and fill out the application form online. Once application forms are out, Interested students can fill the application out the form after verifying the eligibility criteria of the course from Karnataka University
