IP University Admission 2026-27: The last date to apply (except BTech) at IP University is 25 May 2026. The university is relying on various NLTs (National Level Tests) and candidate’s merit for granting admission to various programs in the academic year of 2026-27. Students who want to take admission at the university and have qualified in IPU CET, CUET PG, CMAT, etc., must start completing the application forms available on the official website of the university. Some of the programs offered by the 13 schools of the university are MBBS, BSc, BPharm, BA, MTech, MSc, MBA, and other Doctoral programs in multiple fields. 

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University was established in 1998 by the Government of NCT of Delhi. The university has maintained its reputation with an outstanding management system in the School of Medicine and Para Medical Health Sciences and also by gaining the A++ accreditation from NAAC. It has also been ranked 74 by NIRF 2026 under the category of University. IP University has provided affiliation to 87 self-financed institutions and 28 government institutions. It has proven to be very inclusive throughout the years because it offers a total of 176 academic programs in multiple levels and disciplines and has 93,000+ strength students enrolled at the university.

IP University has decided to implement the NEP 2020 Guidelines from the academic year of 2026-27. Hence, students who are planning to apply to the university must know that the duration of UG programs at the university will be extended to 4 years with giving multiple Exit options to the enrolled students. The university will also be giving the necessary instructions to the students for creating their ABC ID on the Digilocker Application.

IP University Admission 2026-27

The Admission process for the numerous programs provided at the university for the academic year of 2026-27 has been initiated. Students must note that the last date to apply at the university is 25 May 2026. Students can apply at the official website of the university - @ipu.ac.in. The university will be providing admission on the basis of the students’ scores in any relevant entrance exams like IPU CET, NEET UG, CUET UG and PG, CAT, etc.

While for some courses like MTech (Computer Science and Engineering),MBA (Disaster Management),MSc (Nursing), etc., the university assesses the candidate’s merit for offering admission. The application fee at the university is INR 1500. Some of the programs offered at IPU are BSc, MSc, MTech, BEd, BA, MBA, BCom, etc. The university has included 9 new regular courses and 3 new certificated courses in the academic year of 2026-27. 

IP University Admission 2026-27 Last Date

IP University UG Admission 2026-27

Several programs at the UG level are offered at IP University. The admission process for these courses has been initiated for the academic session of 2026-27. The last date to submit the UG program application forms is 25 May 2026. Students who are applying for the merit or IPU CET-based exam must start completing the application forms on the official website of the university.

Some of the UG programs offered by the university are BSc, BA, BBA, BTech, BEd, BCom, etc. In addition to these, the university will also be introducing 7 new UG programs from the current academic year. Those who have completed their 10+2 from a recognized board with at least 55% are eligible for admission to the UG programs at the university. Moreover, the counselling round for these programs at the university is scheduled from 4 to 7 June 2026. 

IP University PG Admission 2026-27

Admission at IP University for PG programs has begun. The last date to apply is 25 May 2026. Students who want to take admission at the college through the scores of the qualifying exam or IPU CET 2026 must start applying at the university. Some of the programs offered at the university include MTech, MA, MSc, MEd, MBA, etc.

Students who are interested in pursuing any PG programs at the college must have a relevant bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with 50% and must have qualified in relevant entrance exams like NEET PG, GATE, CUET PG, IPU CET, etc. In addition, applicants are also required to appear in the online or offline counselling session scheduled from 4 to 7 June 2026.  

IP University PhD Admission 2026-27

The admission process for admission to PhD programs at IP University was started in January 2026 with the release of application forms for PET 2026. Students who have qualified in the entrance exam conducted from 27 April to 14 May 2026 can start finalizing their admission at the university from 31 July 2026. Candidates applying for PhD programs will also have to appear in the counselling round at the university, as this round carries 30% weightage in the admission process.

Those who have qualified UGC NET, NET JRF, GATE, CEED, etc., will be exempted from the entrance exam conducted by the university. Some of the specializations of PhD programs offered at the university are English, Economics, Mass Communication, Biotechnology, Law, Chemical Engineering, etc.
