National Museum Institute of the History of Art, Conservation and Museology is an autonomous institute, a seat of higher education in the fields of History, Conservation, and Museology under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. Institute was established in 27 January 1989. It is located within the campus of the National Museum, Janpath New Delhi.

National Museum Institute of History of Arts Conservation and Musicology  Admission 2021-22

National Museum Institute of the History, Art, Conservation, and Museology is an autonomous institute and provides various higher education in the different streams like History, Conservation, and Museology under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. The Univesity is located at Janpath, New Delhi. The University also provides Postgraduate and Doctoral level courses. Eligibility Criteria

  • To Apply for MA and Ph.D. Courses, Candidates seeking admission in MA and Ph.D. Courses on the basis got the better result in the written test which is conducted by the Insitute itself.
  • After receiving the applications, the Candidate will be shortlisted for the written test.
  • 22.5% of seats in each program of study are reserved for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates (15% for SC and 7.5% for ST). 27% seats are reserved for OBC (NCL) and 3% seats are reserved for Differently Abled candidates.

  • Candidate must be sent the duly filled application form through Speed Post and Registered Post Should be mention Admission Office Address on the Letter cover. No charge to apply any application form.

The University provides 8 merit scholarships, Candidate who admitted for the first & second year M.Courses.The University is also provided scholarships for reversed category students such as SC/ST category students.

The main purpose of a scholarship is to basically give an opportunity for an extraordinary talent student and But do not have enough Economical/Financial support from the family. Family income is to less. The University offers a generous scholarship to meritorious students.

The University provides a scholarship to meritorious students. That candidate belongs SC/ST/OBC are eligible for the scholarship. The University support financial to a weaker student whose parent has less income.
