Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry also known as "Nauni University". It is a public state university in Himachal Pradesh. YSP University Admission begins for UG self-financing degree programs. The last date to fill out the application form for Nauni University will be 30 April 2025*. Students can apply to regular and self-financed programs like BSC Hon., Hort., BSC Hon., Forestry, BTECH Biotech., Diploma in Fruit & Vegetable Processing, bakery products, and more.
Nauni University admission to normal seats will be granted on YSP University entrance exam scores, and the exam will be conducted on 16 June 2025*. Nauni University PG Admission 2025
Nauni University PG courses admission is ongoing for the 2025-26 academic year, and the applicants can apply by visiting the official website @yspuniversity.ac.in. The last date to fill out the online application form for admission will be 30 April 2025*. The university begins online registration for MSc (Entomology), MSc (Food Tech), MSc (Seed Science & Tech), MSc (Vegetable Science), MSc (Plant Pathology), MSc (Fruit Science), MBA Agri, business, and more. Admission to YSP University PG courses will be granted on the entrance test which will be held on 05 July 2025*. The admission process is also followed by counselling, group discussion and personal interviews.
The ICAR will conduct AIEEA PG to offer seats in the MBA and MSC degree programs. Qualified students in CAT, CMAT, and XAT can be exempt from university entrance tests to earn admission to the desired program. Nauni University PG entrance exam registration last date will be 30 April 2025*. The application form fee for Unreserved category students is INR 2000. While SC/ST will get a slight relaxation, they can deposit INR 1500.

Nauni University has announced to conduct the entrance exam for admission to all undergraduate and postgraduate courses for the year 2025-26. The last date to fill out the registration form will be 28 June 2025* for undergraduate courses and 20 June 2025* for postgraduate courses. Nauni University UG entrance exam 2025 will be conducted on 16 July 2025*, while the PG entrance exam will be held on 05 July 2025*. Earlier it used to grant admission to courses such as Undergraduate, MSc, MBA (Agribusiness), and Doctoral Programmes based on university-level entrance scores.
All candidates who wish to enrol in the university's respective course must take the entrance examination. To qualify for BSC, candidates must have passed 10+2 with English, Physics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and any Biology, Mathematics, and Farming as optional subjects. A Bachelor's degree must apply to M. Sc. candidates with a minimum of 60% for general candidates, and 55% for reserved candidates in the corresponding discipline. PhD applicants must receive a master's degree in the discipline concerned. Based on marks in their respective entrance exams, B.Sc. and M.Sc. candidates are selected. Based on written tests as well as interviews, PhD candidates shall be selected.

YSPUHF Admission Reservation
The HP quota seats/seats open for all shall be filled up in the following manner:-
22.5% of the total seats under the HP quota shall be reserved for scheduled caste (15%) and scheduled tribe (7.5%). The benefit of this reservation shall apply to the bonafide residents of Himachal Pradesh. Nauni University Admission 2025 last date will be 30 April 2025*, and after that, there will be no acceptance of the application form. In case the candidates in either of the two categories are not available, the seat(s) will be interchangeable.
Note: In case, the candidates as prescribed in the above clause are selected according to their position in the combined general merit list, shall not be counted for covering the prescribed percentage of reservation. Five seats are reserved for nominees of State Government/ Industries. The merit of the candidate will be determined keeping in view the reservation of various categories.
