Nauni University PG Admission 2024-25 last date is 22 May 2024*. The university begins online registration for MSC Entomology, MSC Food Tech., MSC Seed Science & Tech., MSC Vegetable Science, MSC Plant Pathology, MSC Fruit Science, MBA Agri., business, and more. Admission to YSP University PG will be granted on the entrance test, followed by group discussion and personal interview. 

The ICAR will conduct AIEEA PG to offer seats in the MBA and MSC degree programs. Qualified students in CAT, CMAT, and XAT can be exempt from university entrance tests to earn admission to the desired program. Nauni University offers a doctorate level in Horticulture and forestry. There are more than 10 subjects for specialization available in the university and the merit list that is followed by the entrance exam prepares students for PhD admission. Students applying for the PhD course need must have completed a master's degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 65% marks.

Students appearing for the Ph.D. admission need to first fill out the application form and then must be eligible by having a bachelor's and master's degree in a relevant field. Nauni University offers admission into PhD programs in various specializations like  PhD in Hindi, English, Maths, Biology, Zoology, Anthropology, Sociology, Biology,  Geography, Computer Science,  Psychology, Chemistry, Political Science, etc.

Nauni University has announced that it will not conduct any entrance exam at the University level for Nauni University admission for the new academic session 2024-25. Nauni University entrance exam registration process will begin soon, and the last date to register will be 10 May 2024*. Nauni University entrance exam 2024 will be conducted on 25 May 2024*. Earlier it used to grant admission to courses such as Undergraduate, MSc, MBA (Agribusiness),and Doctoral Programmes based on university-level entrance scores but now it will check score card of Indian Council of Agricultural Research ICAR)-AIEEA(UG),AIEEA (PG) and AICE-JRF/SRF-2024 to be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

All candidates who wish to enroll in the university's respective course must take the entrance examination. To qualify for BSC, candidates must have passed 10+2 with English, Physics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and any Biology, Mathematics, and Farming as optional subjects. A Bachelor's degree must apply to M. Sc. candidates with a minimum of 60% for general candidates, and 55% for reserved candidates in the corresponding discipline. PhD applicants must receive a master's degree in the discipline concerned. Based on marks in their respective entrance exams, B.Sc. and M.Sc. candidates are selected. Based on written tests as well as interviews, PhD candidates shall be selected.

The HP quota seats/seats open for all shall be filled up in the following manner:-

22.5% of the total seats under the HP quota shall be reserved for scheduled caste (15%) and scheduled tribe (7.5%). The benefit of this reservation shall apply to the bonafide residents of Himachal Pradesh.
