AP Shimla Goyal University Admission 2024-25: AP Goyal University is also known as Alakh Prakash Goyal University and it is a BCI and UGC-approved institute of Himachal Pradesh. It is established in 2012 at Shimla. The university campus is spread over 88 acres. Presently, AP Goyal University is offering multiple PG, UG, Certificate, Ph.D., and Diploma Courses. At the UG level, APGU offers B.Tech, BCA, B.Arch, B.Com, B.Pharm, BHM, BA English, and BA, M.Tech, MBA, MA, D-Pharm, LLM, MJMC are postgraduate courses of APGU.

Candidates for admission to APGU's UG courses must have completed their HSC, and candidates for admission to APGU's PG courses must have completed their bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline. To enroll in APGU's B.Tech and B.Arch degree programs, applicants must pass the JEE Main and NATA tests, respectively.

AP Goyal Shimla University provides undergraduate and postgraduate level courses and has multiple streams such as Arts, Journalism and Mass Communication, Hotel Management and many more. Aspirants can fill out the application form in both online and offline modes. Students who want admission at the UG level must have completed 10+2 with good marks from the authorized board. The admission process for various courses will be based on merit, and For B.Tech, M.Tech and MBA courses, students must have passed the entrance exam.

APG Shimla UG Admission 2024-25

Shimla University AGU starts registration for BTECH CI DS, BTECH CT IOT, BARCH, BPLAN, BCOM, BCA CTIS, BSC IT, BSC Cyber Security, BDES Product Design, BHM, BA JMC, CCEC, BA-LLB, BBA, and more. The last date to submit Shimla university ug programs is yet to be updated on the official website. 

Aspirants can submit a form with a deposit of INR 1,000. Students will be intimated for the offline test by the university team before admission. One can earn admission in APG Shimla by obtaining a rank in an entrance test such as JEE followed by the APGSU aptitude test.

APG Shimla PG Admission 2024

APG Shimla PG admission window opens for law, IT, computer app., technology & eng., business, etc., streams. Here students are being invited for MCA, MTECH CE, MTECH CSE, MTECH ME, MHM, MA JMC, LLM, LLB, MBA HR, MA Marketing, MBA IT, MBA Finance, and more. The admission to APG University Shimla will be followed on the entrance and offline test of the university.

It is mandatory for every student to appear in the APGSU aptitude test to confirm admission in APG Shimla PG. Even qualified students in the state-level entrance test will need to appear in the university aptitude test.

AP Goyal Shimla University Application Process 

The university application process will be both online and offline mode. Students can find all the essential points they need to consider while filling out the AP Goyal Shimla University application process. Students can fill out the application form by visiting the official website. 

Online Process

Step 1: Online registration on the website portal.

Step 2: An automated verification link will be sent to the registered email id.

Step 3: On clicking the link, the account will be activated and the candidate will be redirected to the online payment portal.

Step 4: After successful payment of Rs.1000/- (Non-Refundable) the application process will be complete.

Step 5: Students will be informed about the APGSU Aptitude test within 5 days of successful online registration.

Step 6: A merit will be generated on basis of an online test, after which the student will have to pay the full registration amount of Rs. 10,000/- (Non-Refundable) if the student wishes to confirm the admission.

Offline Process

Step 1: Download the application form from the website www.agu.edu.in or procure it from University.

Step 2: Send the filled application form along with a DD of Rs. 1000/- (Non-Refundable) to the University address: Alakh Prakash Goyal Shimla University, Mehli- Shogi Bypass Road, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.

Step 3: After successfully receiving the filled application form, the forms will be scrutinized.

Step 4: Students will be intimated about the date of the Offline test.

Step 5: After the result of the test, on basis of the merit list, the student will have to pay the full registration amount of Rs.10,000/-(Non-Refundable) if the student wishes to confirm the admission.

For the last step student visits the University, the student will be counselled and will have to pay full fees.

AP Goyal University Admission: Eligibility Criteria

For admission, students have to carry 50% marks in the 12 standards and for a reserved candidate have to secure 45% marks in these subjects such as Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology) subject to a valid score in JEE (Main).

Admission Process For LLB:

LLB Admission is completed through an entrance exam that is conducted at the national or university level. Most of the university-shortlisted candidates on the basis of 12 merits. There is some important entrance exam at the national level is CLAT, AILET, and LSAT.

Applicants have to secure a Bachelor's degree from a recognized University to apply for admission to APG Shimla University.

Admission Process For M.Sc:

Students have to secure a B.Sc degree from a reputed University to apply for admission.
