HPTU Hamirpur Admission 2024

Himachal Pradesh Technical University is established with the objective of value welfare in society and creation through technical education and training. The University provides the several UG and PG Programs with many specializations belonging to the field of medical, business and Technical.' A candidate can apply for B.Tech. course available at the university only if he/she has passed 10+2 with 45% marks and Physics and Chemistry as mandatory subjects. 

For applying to B.Tech. (Lateral Entry),the candidate must have Diploma with 45% marks or a B.Sc. degree with the same percentage of marks. Himachal Pradesh Technical University admission to the B.Tech. courses, 50% of candidates are selected from JEE Main and rest 50% are selected from Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPC) 2018. HPTU Admission to MBA Program, Candidate must have passed graduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized Board/University. For M. Tech. course, B.E./B.Tech. is a requirement for applying and for M.Pharm., B.Pharm is necessary for making an application. HPTU Admission to M.Tech must have scored in the GATE Exam. The seat reservation is only for the OBC/SC/ST category students.

Himachal Pradesh Technical University Scholarship

Dr.Ambedkar Medhavi Chattervriti Yojana: HPTU provides scholarship for top 1000 meritorious candidate who belongs to SC category and as well as top 1000 meritorious students of OBC declared as such in the results of Matric Examination which is conducted by the H.P.Board of Schools Education, Dharamshala, strictly on merit basis of candidate studying in a recognized institution within outside the state. The renewal in 10+2 Class / 2nd Year, of course, will be subject to satisfactory performance in internal examinations of the 10+1 Class / 1st Year Course. The scholarship is given @ Rs 10,000/- p.a.

Swami Vivekanand Utkrisht Chattervriti  Scholarship Yojana

HPTU offers the scholarship for a meritorious student which belongs of General category declared as such in the result of Matric Examination conducted by the H.P Board of School Education, Dharamshala, Strictly on the merit basis to a student studying in a recognized board within or outside the State. The renewal in 10+2 Class / 2nd Year, of course, will be subject to satisfactory performance in internal examinations of the 10+1 Class / 1st Year Course. The scholarship is given @ Rs 10,000/- p.a.
