The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics from a recognized University/ Board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% marks in case of SC/ ST/ PH category candidates/ in-service nominees of HP) in the above subjects. OR Examination of a University/ Board/ College/School in a foreign country recognized by the Academic Council as equivalent to 10+2 with science subject.

Experiential Learning Programmes, Practical based learning, Forest Visits, Industrial Attachments interaction with farmers etc make the programme a highly practical based learning one are the salient features of the B.Sc. (Hons.) Forestry Programme at the College of Forestry.

College Merit Scholarship of ­1000/- PM (10% of the enrolment). Government of India scheduled caste/ tribe and low income group stipend through State Education Department. The value of stipend is equivalent to the tuition and other fee. ICAR National Talent Scholarship of ­1000/- PM.
