BAOU UG Admission 2023

BAOU Admission 2023-24 to the UG courses generally happens in the month of October, every year. The university offers BA, B.Com, B.Ed, B.Lis, BSW, BCA, BBA and many others. Aspirants should have completed Intermediate with an aggregate of 50% marks from a dignified board. However, these marks can differ depending on the type of course.
Those who have passed the BPP examination are also equally eligible to apply for the UG courses offered by Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University. For B.Sc, one must belong to the science stream with the subjects, Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics. The selection of deserving students will be only through merit scores.

BCA students can either choose Bachelor in Computer Application - Multimedia (BCAMUL) or Bachelor in Computer Application (BCA) general. The eligibility is the same for both courses.

BAOU B.Ed. Admission 

Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University offers admission to Bachelor of Education to students who have earned any bachelor's degree in any stream. The university conducts an entrance exam for confirming seats in this professional course. Its online application form is not released yet. BAOU B.Ed. The registration form fee will be around Rs 500-600.

BAOU BEd Admission is done on the basis of a University level entrance exam. The written test is conducted at the University level.

BAOU Vocational Courses Admission 2023

Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University offers a number of vocational courses at both UG and PG Levels. All the offered courses are job oriented such that are highly demanded in the corporate market. BOAU Vocational courses are also available in the form of short-term courses. 

BAOU BPP Admission 2023

This course is a 12th-level course, students who did not able to complete their 12th due to any reason can opt for BAOU BPP Course. After completing this course, students are eligible to apply for any graduation or diploma courses offered at BAOU. Students can fill out the admission form till 31 March 2023. BPP admission is based on the performance in the entrance exam given by the university. 

BRAOU BA Admission 2023

The last date for BRAOU BA admission is 31 March 2023.  Students must have finished their 10+2 from the relevant board for admission to BA(bachelor of arts). The duration of this course is 3 years. The students can visit the BRAOU official website to fill out the application form.

BAOU PG Admission 

Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University (BAOU) provides various PG programmes covering the areas such as science, arts, commerce, and social work that include M.Sc, MA, M.Lis, MSW, and M.Com. Coming to the common eligibility criteria, one must have earned a UG degree with not less than 55% marks in the relevant stream. Besides this, students will be selected on the basis of their merit. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University will soon begin admissions for PG-level programs. MA, or Master of Arts, is a postgraduate (PG)-level program that is offered to those who have completed their bachelor's-level degree with good marks from a recognized university. BAOU Admission Process 2023-24

Open the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University website (www.baou.edu.in).

Step 1: Click on the admission tab, then read all the instructions, check the available course, and study center, and Generate a registration ID by providing personal and academic details.
Step 2: After it, students will have to follow instructions to generate an E - pin from E-Pin Menu.

Step-3: For Online BAOU Admission, the applicant has to click on “Registration”. The applicant is to fill in information like Name, Course, Mobile number, Email, Birthdate, Aadhar Card number, Gender. Those who have a free-ship card (only for SC/ST category),can select ‘Yes’ option from the given options. The information brochure is placed on the university website for the subject choice for Specialization-01 and Specialization-02 subject. An applicant has to choose one subject as the main subject and other subjects as secondary subjects. Then one who has registered can log in with the registered username and password.

Note: If the applicant’s name is different from the name given in the marksheet, He/ she is required to enclose a gazette copy of name change or marriage certificate. A scanned copy of this document will have to be uploaded.

Step-4: Applicant will have to click on ‘Pay Fees’.Kindly download Challan after paying fees at any branch of HDFC Bank through e-Challan facility and enter(Reference Number, Fees Amount and Transaction Date) in the form. Kindly pay fees through the Payment Gateway facility(Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Netbanking options).

Step-5:BAOU Admission Applicants have to click ‘Form Entry’ and follow the step given below:
Kindly select the study centre. Fill full name(as given in 10th or 12th Std Marksheet) and Address(House No, Apartment/ Area, City, District, Pincode and Mobile number) etc. compulsorilyKindly fill in Birthdate, Age, Religion, Blind, Handicapped, Sex, Professional, and Income detail in the Personal Details. Pay Fees at any branch of HDFC Bank through e-Challan Kindly select a Payment option and fill in the payment information (Reference Number, Fees Amount and Transaction Date). Kindly select the subject carefully. Please click on ‘Save’ Button after filling in all information completely.

Step-6: Applicant has to upload a scanned copy of the above-mentioned documents to Online.

Note: The student who fills the admission form online with the help of the study centres does not have to pay any fee (rupee) to the study centre. Study centres are paid separately for this work.

BAOU Admission Eligibility Criteria

Such students who have passed BPP From any university are eligible to apply for UG courses offered at the University.

• For Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University B Ed admission: Students must have scored a minimum of 55% of the score in their graduation. They have passed their graduation in any stream from any UGC approved university in India. BOAU also offer some concession in marks so reserved category students can apply for B Ed admission if they have scored at least 45% of the marks.
• For BAOU MBA admission: the applicants must have a bachelor's degree in any stream with a minimum of 55% of marks on the scorecards.
• for BAOU MSW Admission: Students must have obtained a bachelor's degree in BSW from any UGC approved university in India.
• For BAOU SPL.B.Ed. admission: Graduation in any stream with a minimum of 55% Marks.
• BAOU BSC Hons IT: A 10+2 or diploma in information technology or computer engineering can apply to the BSC Hons IT program. Having passed 12th Std or 10th Std with ITI of two or more years followed by GCVT and GOHEB.
• For BAOU Diploma admission: Any 10th OR 12th pass students can fill the online application form as he/she is eligible to apply for Diploma courses admission.
