Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University Admission process for all offered UG courses will commence for the July session. 31 May 2024* is the last date to apply for BAOU Admission at @baou.ac.in. BAOU offers various UG courses admission such as BLIS, BA, BCOM, BSc, B.Ed, BSW, BBA, etc based on merit score. The eligible students can apply online at @baou.ac.in. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University registration fee is INR 1,000.

The university offers a wide variety of UG, PG, Certificates, MOOCs, and PhD programs in different specializations. Interested eligible applicants can benefit by applying for any of the courses at BAOU. BAOU UG Admission 2024

There are many departments in which students can apply for different courses, and those departments offer the specific type of courses. 

The minimum eligibility that a student should have before applying for a UG course at BAOU is having 12th qualifications with at least 50% of marks. The specialized courses require different sets of eligibility according to the educational needs, so students can read the detailed information about each course in the following course section.

In BAOU UG Admission, students have the option to select the specialization in the BA such as History, Economics, commerce, sociology, public administration, Hindi, English, Gujarati, Political Science, etc. and students can also opt the other specializations in different courses as well.

BAOU B.Ed Admission 2024

Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University has started the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) courses admission for the session 2024-25. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree to be eligible to take admission to B.Ed programmes. Students can fill out the form to fulfill the required criteria by visiting the official website of the university. BAOU B.Ed Admission is done on the basis of a university-level entrance exam. The written test is conducted at the University level.

BAOU BA Admission 2024

BAOU Vocational Courses Admission 2024

This course is a 12th-level course, students who were not able to complete their 12th due to any reason can opt for the BAOU BPP Course. The deadline to fill out the BAOU Admission form is 31 May 2024* at the official website @baou.edu.in. BAOU releases the application form in online mode. Students can fill it out as per their choice. For the application process, one must be aware of all prerequisites that are important for admission purposes. BAOU Admission Process 2024-25

Open the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University website (www.baou.edu.in).

Step 1: Click on the admission tab, then read all the instructions, check the available course, and study center, and Generate a registration ID by providing personal and academic details. Step 2: After that, students will have to follow instructions to generate an E-pin from the E-Pin Menu.

Step 3: For Online BAOU Admission, the applicant has to click on “Registration”. The applicant is to fill in information like Name, Course, Mobile number, Email, Birthdate, Aadhar Card number, and Gender. Those who have a free-ship card (only for the SC/ST category),can select the ‘Yes’ option from the given options. The information brochure is placed on the university website for the subject choice for Specialization-01 and Specialization-02 subject. An applicant has to choose one subject as the main subject and other subjects as secondary subjects. Then one who has registered can log in with the registered username and password.

Note: If the applicant’s name is different from the name given in the marksheet, He/ she is required to enclose a gazette copy of the name change or marriage certificate. A scanned copy of this document will have to be uploaded.

BAOU Course & Fee Structure

BAOU Admission Eligibility Criteria

Such students who have passed BPP From any university are eligible to apply for UG courses offered at the University.

• For Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University B Ed admission: Students must have scored a minimum of 55% of the score in their graduation. They have passed their graduation in any stream from any UGC-approved university in India. BOAU also offers some concessions in marks so reserved category students can apply for B Ed admission if they have scored at least 45% of the marks.
• For BAOU MBA admission: the applicants must have a bachelor's degree in any stream with a minimum of 55% of marks on the scorecards.
• for BAOU MSW Admission: Students must have obtained a bachelor's degree in BSW from any UGC-approved university in India.
• For BAOU SPL.B.Ed. admission: Graduation in any stream with a minimum of 55% Marks.
• BAOU BSC Hons IT: A 10+2 or diploma in information technology or computer engineering can apply to the BSC Hons IT program. Having passed 12th Std or 10th Std with ITI of two or more years followed by GCVT and GOHEB.
• For BAOU Diploma admission: Any 10th OR 12th pass students can fill out the online application form as he/she is eligible to apply for Diploma course admission.
