BAOU Admission 2026-27

Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University Admission process for all offered UG and PG courses will start for the July session from 01 June 2026*. The deadline to submit the application form for BAOU Admission will be 25 June 2026. BAOU offers various UG and PG courses admission such as BLIS, BA, BCOM, BSc, MA, MCom, MBA, etc based on merit score. The eligible students can apply online at @baou.ac.in. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University registration fee is INR 250.

The university offers a wide variety of 12 UG, 13 PG, 20 Certificates, 19 Diploma, and PhD programs in different specializations. Interested eligible applicants can benefit by applying for any of the courses at BAOU. Students can apply for the program whether it is UG, PG, or a Diploma including the popular and demanding courses like BA, BCOM, BLIS, BCA, BBA, BBA (AT), MSO,  MHD, B.Ed, MEG, MLIS, MCOM, BSW, MSW, MSc. Students must be eligible enough to apply for the courses being offered by the university to get admission. The UG minimum eligibility is 12th passed qualifications with 50% and PG minimum eligibility is a UG degree with 55% marks by a recognized university. For Ph.D. Level courses students must have completed their PG degree to apply for them.

BAOU offers the BPP programme, to those who have not passed intermediate classes after the 10th due to any reason and now wising to study further. The candidate is supposed to be 18 years old for B.P.P. He/she needs to have basic Gujarati know-how to read and write the language to be able to receive B.P.P. admission.

BAOU online admission is going to open soon for the July 2026 session. The University provides online admission for all its UG, PG, Diploma, and Certificate courses by releasing the online application form at their official web portal. All of the documentation must be submitted only online.

BAOU UG Admission 2026

BAOU offers 12 UG courses admission such as BA, BCom, BBA, BCA, BLIs, and BEd for the 2026-27 academic year. The admission process for all offered UG courses will start soon for the July session. 25 June 2026* will be the last date to apply for BAOU UG Admission at @baou.ac.in. There are many departments in which students can apply for different courses, and those departments offer the specific type of courses. 

The minimum eligibility that a student should have before applying for a UG course at BAOU is having 12th qualifications with at least 50% of marks. The specialized courses require different sets of eligibility according to the educational needs, so students can read the detailed information about each course in the following course section.

In BAOU UG Admission, students have the option to select the specialization in the BA such as History, Economics, commerce, sociology, public administration, Hindi, English, Gujarati, Political Science, etc. and students can also opt the other specializations in different courses as well.

BAOU B.Ed Admission 2026

Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University has started the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) courses admission for the session 2026-27. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree to be eligible to take admission to B.Ed programmes. Students can fill out the form to fulfill the required criteria by visiting the official website of the university. BAOU B.Ed Admission is done on the basis of a university-level entrance exam. The written test is conducted at the University level.

BAOU BA Admission 2026

BAOU offers admission to the Bachelor of Arts degree course for the academic session 2026-27. The duration of the course is 3 years. BAOU Vocational Courses Admission 2026

BAOU Vocational courses admission will commence for the July 2026-27 academic year. Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University offers a number of vocational courses at both UG and PG Levels. BAOU BPP Admission 2026

This course is a 12th-level course, students who were not able to complete their 12th due to any reason can opt for the BAOU BPP Course. BAOU Admission Form 2026

BAOU Admission form will be invited soon for all courses in the July 2026-27 session academic session. The deadline to fill out the BAOU Admission form is 25 June 2026* at the official website @baou.edu.in. BAOU releases the application form in online mode. Students can fill it out as per their choice. For the application process, one must be aware of all prerequisites that are important for admission purposes. If any student wants to correct their name or address, or want to change their subjects or study center, then they will have to fill out a separate application form. 

BAOU Admission Process 2026-27

Open the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University website (www.baou.edu.in).

Step 1: Click on the admission tab, then read all the instructions, check the available course, and study center, and Generate a registration ID by providing personal and academic details. Step 2: After that, students will have to follow instructions to generate an E-pin from the E-Pin Menu.

Step 3: For Online BAOU Admission, the applicant has to click on “Registration”. The applicant is to fill in information like Name, Course, Mobile number, Email, Birthdate, Aadhar Card number, and Gender. Those who have a free-ship card (only for the SC/ST category),can select the ‘Yes’ option from the given options. The information brochure is placed on the university website for the subject choice for Specialization-01 and Specialization-02 subject. An applicant has to choose one subject as the main subject and other subjects as secondary subjects. Then one who has registered can log in with the registered username and password.

Note: If the applicant’s name is different from the name given in the marksheet, He/ she is required to enclose a gazette copy of the name change or marriage certificate. A scanned copy of this document will have to be uploaded.
