• 10+2 should be the minimum qualification for candidates from any recognized board for admission in UG courses.
• The selection process of UG courses will take place on a merit basis, candidates will have to qualify a competitive examination.
• Meanwhile, for taking admission in a PG course, students should have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university along with related specializations.
• Candidates, who qualify the examination set by the University, will be eligible to take admission in PG courses.
• However, the university will conduct an entrance test for the selection of the candidate in M.Phil. and Ph.D. courses.

• Candidates need not to go anywhere. The university offers them to fill-up application forms online.
• Candidates have to visit the official website of the university and then go to the admission page.
• On the university website, students have to Click on the Application Form 2020 and then click on another link Apply Now, then all the details will be unveiled.
• All the students need to register themselves first after that they can fill the form along with all the valid details.
• Candidates will have to click on Save link then they can continue. Afterward, students will get Application number and Password to their registered mobile number.
• The next step would be login again and fill the entire form then you have to click on the link of save in the end you have to exit.
• After that, candidates have to submit the application form along with the application fees of INR 100 online via debit/credit card/net banking.
• The final step is to click on online receipt, then you will get the payment receipt of your application fees.

Documents Required for Admission

The university needs several documents of students for the thorough verifications of every candidate. The SPUVVN has asked the students to provide all the necessary documents with the Application form, which are given below:

• 10th and 12th standard mark sheet
• School Leaving Certificate
• Caste Certificate
• Non-Creamy Certificate
• PWD Certificate
• Certificate of Ex-Serviceman will be issued by the Director, Sainik Welfare Board, Gujarat State or by the District Sainik Welfare Officer.
• Meanwhile, the commanding officer of the respective unit in which he is serving will have the authority to issue a copy of the certificate to in-serviceman

Sardar Patel University Entrance Test 

• Those students who are eager to take admission in M.Phil., and Ph.D. first have to crack the entrance test. Those who fail will be deprived of from taking admission in such courses.

• Exemption from entrance test: That is why those candidates who have already cracked UGC-CSIR / UGC NET / SLET/ DBT / ICMR / GA, JRF are exempted from the entrance test. They have to only fill up separate application form for taking enrolling themselves in M.Phil. & Ph.D. programmes.

The Department of Business Management of the university has an active placement cell, where the placement officer sits. He advises students about the pros of cons of companies. The department has an excellent placement record.

The average package for the year 2020 placement was around Rs. 4.31 Lakh per annum, while the highest salary was   Rs. 6.5 Lakh per annum. The package must be considered highly impressive seeing the economic slowdown due to Covid-19.
