IGNOU OPENMAT 2024 is a common entrance examination for the distance education IGNOU MBA program.  In the exam, their code numbers are given that change from year to year. It is Indira Gandhi National Open University a distance and open-learning University. IGNOU MBA Distance Education Informative 

Indira Gandhi National Open University for the Master of Business Administration (MBA) Course will not take the entrance exam. Interested candidates can apply for the IGNOU MBA Course through distance learning without taking an entrance exam for the academic year. Currently, IGNOU has started its admission process for the MBA program. Students need to fill out the application form by 10 February 2024. The management course consists of four semesters to be completed in the minimum period they take only 2 years.

IGNOU OPENMAT 2024

The IGNOU OPENMAT is an exam of the offline exam. All the candidates who fill the form for the exam must have to be submitted by posts only. However, students can download the application form through the online process.

Eligibility Criteria for IGNOU MBA

• Requirement A Bachelor's degree of no less than three years.
• Chartered Accountancy, Cost Accountancy, or Company Secretaryship those candidates can also apply.
• Minimum 45% score in graduation for reserved category and 50% score for the rest remaining.
• Students must have qualified OPENMAT with minimum cutoff scores.
• There is no age limit to sit in this examination.
• Valid student Visa for foreign applicants

Exceptions To Eligibility Criteria Of IGNOU OPENMAT 2024

• The university can also accept degrees of a 2-year duration obtained from a recognized university. The other necessary condition is it must be completed before 1988-89 and must have a one-year bridge course certificate.
• Students who have been completed their first degree courses before 4th June 1986, will treat as equal to students having 3-year course degrees.
• If someone has a one sitting BA degree from Osmania University, then the student must have enrolled before  1995-96 and completed the same before 1998-99. Apart from that candidates
• The candidate should have a gap of two years after +2.

IGNOU MBA Application Form 

Details of application procedure: For the idea of candidature for IGNOU OPENMAT 2024, the student, first of all, will have to fill the Application Form.

In this application form, you will have to fill in your details personal, contact number, address, qualifications, and work experience information, etc. After successfully filling the application form, send it to the same to Registrar student evaluation division. 

The application forms are available also in offline and online mode. For offline, a student has to purchase the prospectus from the university first then. After that, send the filled form without attached any documents in the same package.

For online, a candidate needs to download the form via online mode and then send the same with an attached demand draft of Rs. 1,050/- to the university.

Students will need to send the fees of Rs. 1,500/- as per course in the form of Demand Draft. after that Finally, this DD should be attached with Application Form 2 and other relevant documents.

IGNOU MBA Admit Card 

IGNOU OPENMATAdmit Card is usually announced within two to three after the successful submission of the application form.

For OPENMAT XLIV and XLV, the admit card will be announced in July 2024 and December 2024 respectively. The hall ticket is an important document to bring on the examination to prove your identity proof.

The exam Pattern of IGNOU was similar to any common entrance test. It consists of four sections that will test your aptitude, knowledge, and command of the language. But for a couple of years, the university did not accept the OPENMAT for the MBA. So, it is a very good chance for students because they can apply for this course without the OPENMAT exam. 

Thus, for the exam to assess the students based on his/her general knowledge, reasoning, English language, and quantitative aptitude. The IGNOU OPENMAT 2024 entrance exam will be an offline mode examination and answers have to be marked on the given OMR Sheet only.

Students must use only HB Pencil to mark the answers on the test sheet. Most importantly, if you are not able to solve any question in the exam, then just leave that for some time and move towards the next question.

Selection Process Of IGNOU OPENMAT 2024

The selection process is very straightforward. Most importantly, you need to clear the offline OPENMAT entrance examination. After the results announcement, the qualified students will be able to fill the admission form 2 to take admission in the IGNOU MBA program.
