SP College Pune Admission 2024-25: The application form for SP College Pune Admission 2024 will be released by the college on 21 April 2024*. The last date to fill out the application form/merit form is 10 May 2024 (tentative). SP College re-published the merit forms on the official website of the college for some of the subjects like Philosophy, German, Sanskrit, etc. on 7 June 2024. The merit form will be available till 9 June 2024 at 3:00 pm for the students to fill out and submit it. The students who are willing to opt for the above-mentioned subjects should submit the merit form before the last date.

The independent Sir Parashurambhau College, formerly known as New Pune College, was founded in 1916 by the British ruler Lord Willingdon and is situated in the centre of Pune, India. The State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education in Maharashtra has given its approval. The NAAC has granted SP College accreditation with an A+ Grade (3.70 CGPA).

SP College Pune Admission to all programmes, with the exception of BBA, B.Sc(Computer Science),M.Sc(Computer Science),MCA, and Ph.D. courses, is determined by the applicant's performance on the qualifying exam. The application form for SP College Pune Admission 2024 will be released on 30 April 2024*.

SP College Pune Admission to the BA, B.Sc, and B.Com programmes is determined by the student's performance in the Higher Secondary Education 10+2 level, which served as their prior qualifying exam. All other postgraduate programmes admit students depending on their performance in the applicable bachelor's degree exam.

With 21 departments, the institution provides both undergraduate and postgraduate course studies in the subjects of arts, commerce, science, computer applications, and management. These departments include Marathi, German language, Sanskrit, political science, history, and psychology, among others.

SP College Pune UG Admission

The Undergraduate courses offered by SP College Pune include BA (General Level or Special Level),B.Com, B.Sc, and BBA courses. The length of each of these courses is 3 years. The BA (Special) course has 13 distinct specialty topics available the BA (General) course has 4 different specializations, and the B.Sc degree has 9 different specialization subjects available.

The candidate's performance in the prior qualifying examination, or the 10+2 grade level examination, is taken into consideration for determining admission to the BA and B.Com programs. Candidates are called to the counselling rounds for B.Sc degree admission after being shortlisted based on their merit as determined by the results of the 10+2 grade level exam.

SP College Pune PG Admission

Postgraduate MA, M.Sc, and M.Com programmes are available at SP College Pune Admission. Courses at the postgraduate level are all 2 years long. While the M.Sc programme has 5-distinct specialization subjects, the MA course offers six different specialization subjects.

The results of the candidates in a separate admission entrance exam administered by the Department of Computer Science determine whether they are admitted to the M.Sc in Computer Science and the MCA programmes. For the counselling rounds, only the shortlisted candidates are invited. The merit of the students in their pertinent bachelor's degree exam determines admission to all other postgraduate programmes.

In addition to UG and PG coursework, SP College also provides a Ph.D. in one of three study areas: Chemistry, Mathematics or Geography.
