Kannada University is also known as Hampi University or Hampi University. The University is located in Hampi, Karnataka and was established in 1991 and approved by the Government of Karnataka with the goal to improve the Kannada language and to focus the literature, culture, and folklore of Karnataka.

Kannada University provides various UG, PG, Integrated, and Doctoral Level Program with a variety of specializations in the field of Fine Arts and Literature, MA, Ph.D. Integrated, Diploma in Sculpture, Diploma In Music, and Bachelor of Fine Arts(BFA). Admission to all the UG, PG, Integrated, and Doctoral Level programs, Students are requested to please check the eligibility criteria at the time of admission.

Scholarship 

The University provides a scholarship for the Postgraduate education of single girl children in non-professional courses only. This scholarship is only for one girl child in the family without having any brother. The value of Scholarship is Rs.2,000/ per month for a period of two years only(10 months in the year).  The University provides a Merit-Based scholarship scheme those whom candidate getting University ranks at undergraduate-level programs. The Age should be 30 years at the time of admission in PG courses. The University is also offering a scholarship for who got the 1st and 2nd rank at UG Courses, doing in any Postgraduate Course will be awarded the scholarship. apart from this the state government also provided the scholarship amount to the student who is getting the good result in the last qualifying examination, that students can get a good scholarship amount from the government side.
