Acharya N.G.Ranga Agricultural University is a public agricultural university. It was established on 12 June 1964, located at the village of Lam, Guntur district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. This University is established under Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University (APAU). Later it was renamed Acharya N.G.Ranga in November 1996. Acharya N.G. Ranga Agriculture University offered a wide variety of courses for undergraduates, postgraduates, and PhD. Most scholarships are awarded to students from the ST/SC categories. Merit-based scholarships are also provided by the University to students who score well in academics.

ANGRAU University Admission 2024-25

Admisison for ANGRAU 2024-25 academic year will soon start and students will be able to submit the application form through the official admission portal provided by the university. The last date to submit the application form in online mode is 30 June 2024 (tentative). 

The admission will be based on the entrance exams. Students have to submit the scorecard of ICAR AIEEA, AGRICET, AP EAMCET, etc national level or state level entrance examination to get admission in the ANGAU for the 2024 academic year. For courses like MBA, PGD, and Ph.D. students have to appear in the group discussion round followed by the interview round conducted by the university to complete the admission process.

The last date for ANGRAU University PG Admission 2024-25 is 03 June 2024. Candidates can choose various postgraduate courses at ANGRAU, such as MBA, MCom, MSc, and many more. Students who have completed their bachelor's degree with good marks from a recognized university are eligible to apply for admission to the PG-level programs. The admission process will be based on merit, but for MBA and MCA courses, students need to pass the entrance test. • If you want to take ANGAU admission to this University, a candidate must pass the 10+2 by the Intermediate Education Board.
• Candidate should be passed from these subjects Physical Sciences, Biological or Natural Sciences as one of theirs.
• Candidate having the aggregate 50% marks or GPA of 5.50 / 10.00 and 40% marks for SC/ST.

B.Tech

• If you want to take admitted to this University, the candidate must pass the 10+2 by the Intermediate Education Board.
• Candidate should be passed from these subjects Physical Sciences, Biological or Mathematics, or Natural Sciences. Candidate having the aggregate 50% marks or GPA of 5.50 / 10.00 and 40% marks for SC/ST.

MBA (Agribusiness Management)

This course duration is 4 years in this program B.Sc. (Ag. ) / Hort. / B.Tech. (Ag.Engg.) or B.V.Sc. & AH / B.F.Sc. / B.H.Sc / B.Tech (Dairying) / B.Tech (Food Technology) / B.Sc. (Food Science & Technology) / B.Sc. Candidate having the aggregate 50% marks or GPA of 5.50 / 10.00 and 40% marks for SC/ST.

 M.Sc.

The student should pass a year's degree course in B.Sc.(CABM)/B.Sc.(Agriculture). Candidate having the aggregate 50% marks or GPA of 5.50 / 10.00 and 40% marks for SC/ST.

• Postgraduate students' age should be 40 years.
• Seat reservation: 15% of seats are reserved for SC category students. 6% of seats are reversed for ST category students, and 29% are reserved for SC category students.
• Outside students will have 25% seats based on the All India Entrance examination of ICAR, New Delhi.
• M.Sc. and B.Sc. admission will be made through the entrance test. Students must get 50% marks.
