On Saturday, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia had announced that exams in all the Delhi state-run universities will be canceled. The decision was made owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In light of the major disruptions caused by the coronavirus pandemic, the Delhi govt has decided to cancel all Delhi state university exams including final exams,” Sisodia tweeted.

On Monday, the University Grants Commission (UGC) had said that universities must conduct exams for final-year students by September. The AAP government says that it will approach the central government regarding this.
