Placement in Kamdhenu University: Contribution in India for the milk and milk industry at the global level is highly substantial and appreciable too. In the Saurashtra region, the Dairy industry is still in the developing stage compared to other parts of Gujarat. Hence, there is a need for dairy technologists for the efficient growth of the dairy industry in this region. At present, we find the shortage of such dairy technologists in spite of the existing colleges for this course. With contribution in India for the milk and milk industry at the global level which is essentially substantial as well as appreciable too. The dairy industry is a developing stage which is comparable to different parts of Gujarat. In the previous six years, Gujarat Co-operative milk marketing Federation has an extension of the partner list in Saurashtra region which is inclusive of Amreli, Kutch, and Porbandar district, Junagadh, Bhavnagar cooperatives as their partners.

Hence the needs and requirements of the dairy technologists for the significant growth of the dairy industry in this particular region. Presently, we find the shortage of dairy technologists from the colleges which are existing for this specific course. Moreover, the considerable number of students from the colleges which are existing opting for studies in India or abroad. With consideration of the situations as mentioned along with strengthening dairy education in this region.
