Ahmedabad University Admission 2024-25

Ahmedabad University is offering admissions every year in Computer Science, Engineering, Art, Management, and Science streams at PG, UG, and Ph.D. levels. B.Tech, MBA, BCA, MCA, and B.Com are some of the popular of this institute.

University begins its entries based on class 10, 11 scores for the year 2024. The institute gave Candidates the option to finish this year or next year due to COVID-19.

Ahmedabad University UG Admission 2024

Ahmedabad University UG admission will be given in BA Hons Economics, BA Hons History, BA Hons Philosophy, BBA Accounting & Finance, BCOM Hons, BSC Hons Computer Science, BTECH, and integrated MBA degree programmes. Students can apply for three programmes while filling out an application form. The last date to complete online registration is 02 August 2024. Those who have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board of India can apply for admission in Ahmedabad University UG.

A merit list prepared by the Admission Committee for the Professional Courses (ACPC) will determine the admission to 50% of the seats. In order to fill the remaining 50% of seats, the JEE (Main) 2024 All India Percentile Rank will be used.

Ahmedabad University PG Admission 2024-25

Ahmedabad University PG admission has started under various faculties such as arts, business & management, technology, computer sciences etc. The students will have programmes like MBA, MA Economics, MTECH Computer Sciences, and Engg., MMSHM, and GEMBMPM. The online registration window for a second admission cycle will end on 02 August 2024. One can create an opportunity of admission at PG by passing the UG degree programme from a UGC-approved university. 

The students should have obtained 50 per cent in their bachelor’s and passed CAT, MAT, or CMAT for admission in the MBA program. GATE-qualified students will be able to apply for the MTECH programme.

Ahmedabad University PhD Admission 2024

The Phd admission in Ahmedabad University will be given upon entrance to a university. However, it is needed to pass a master's degree with a minimum score of 55 % from an approved university in India. Those who belong to categories like SC or ST can apply with a minimum percentage of 50. The university conducts its own entrance test but on the other side, it approves admission on passing any national-level entrance test.

Qualified students in UGC-NET, CSIR-UGC-NET, and DBT-JRF can apply directly to Phd programmes in arts, science, Engineering & Applied Science.

Ahmedabad University Eligibility Criteria

The student has a minimum cut-off and has passed 10+2 from Gujarat or any approved board

IMBA:

If any student for admission has aggregate 60% marks in all subjects, not including computer theory/practical, music, and physical education and has passed 10+2 from Gujarat or any approved board.

IMCA:

If any candidate wants to apply for this course has passed HSC-GSEB/CBSE/ISCE/IB or equivalent examination in the first attempt.

IMSC:

If the student wants to be admission in IMSC has a 10+2 in biology, physics, and chemistry.

Ahmedabad University Entrance Examination 2024-25

The university also provides Master's courses in various departments like Engineering, computer science, Management, Commerce and etc. The university also offers UG courses. If the candidate planned for the  M.Tech course then the candidate required a valid score in the GATE exam.

The GATE exam is conducted by the All India Entrance Test. the admission in M.Tech is also dependent on another entrance exam that is PGCET Exam. University takes some charges for admission. If the candidate takes admission in the MBA course then he needs to pay Rs.1,000 and also needs to clear the CAT / CMAT / MAT  / XAT and interview.

The admission in the Ph.D. course depends on the common entrance exam and personal interview and group discussion. For admission, the candidate required a minimum of 50% marks in graduation from a recognized university, if the candidate belongs to the general category. For SC/ST candidates required a minimum of 45% marks in graduation from a well-known university.
