Homi Bhabha State University Admission 2024-25: Dr Homi Bhabha State University (Dr HBSU) has the distinction to become the first cluster of the University of Maharashtra, while the country’s third. It came into existence in 2019 under Rashtriya Ucchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA). The Government of India established this program. HBSU Phd admission 2024 is started and the interview is scheduled for 03 July 2024. 

Four well-known colleges of Maharashtra have been included in Dr HBSU. The name of the colleges is-

• Government Colleges of Mumbai viz, Institute of Science Elphinstone College
• Sydenham College and
• Secondary Training College.

All four colleges have been providing quality education for many decades. They intend to take education at the highest level. The University is ready to spread knowledge, skills among the students. Currently, University is offering numerous UG and PG courses in almost all disciplines.

HBSU Admission 2024-25

Dr Homi Bhabha State University is a cluster University. Students can opt for different streams for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. All the four premier colleges are part of the University. These colleges are offering UG, PG, and PhD programs in different subjects with specializations. Most students think to be part of these colleges.

Candidates should have a 10+2 certificate from a recognized board for admission in three years of Graduation degree. Students like to take admission in PG. They should have a Graduation degree from a recognized university. Admission in some of the courses in M.Sc. will take place based on Common Entrance Test. Only successful candidates will be eligible for admission. Students have a sound knowledge to crack the Entrance Test. Candidates should have at least 55% marks in PG for admission in PhD.

HBSU UG Admission 2024-25

HBSU UG Admission is going to start soon. The admission process of the BSC program will begin later.

Admission to the BBA and BSC programs will be offered on entrance tests and interviews. No entry will be provided without an entrance test of the university at the UG level.

HBSU PG Admission 2024-25

HBSU Admission PG will start for the MSC IT and MSC IC program on The scheduled date to close online registration is 10th July 2024(tentetive). HBSU admission to PG will be offered on qualifying or entrance merit for specialised programs. 

MSC Data Science aspirants will be needed to appear in the entrance test of the university. Qualified students will be summoned for an interview session at the university. Applicants "who are aiming for admission to MSC IT" are exempt from the university entrance test.

HBSU Courses Admission 2024-25

HBSU Admission Application Form 

All the admission process of the University is through online mode. Four colleges are functioning under this University. Institute of Science has kept the processing fees Rs 300. Admission will take place on the merit basis. Students need to produce the following documents at the time of admission. Candidates should bring a printout of the self-attested fee receipt; Students have to produce the original 12th and Graduation degree mark sheet. Candidates have to bring their Caste Certificate. Students of other universities or colleges need to bring their Migration Certificate. Candidates need to click on submit button at the end. University will not entertain an incomplete form. The mode of payment will be online.

HBSU Admission Eligibility criteria 

• Dr Homi Bhabha State University follows the same eligibility criteria for admission in UG and PG like other country universities. The candidates who want to take admission in UG need to submit their 12th or equivalent certificate at admission.
• Candidates interested in taking admission in PG need to produce their Graduation degree before access. Students who want to pursue M.Phil. and PhD courses must have a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks.
• Students need to pass through several challenging procedures before admission to any college of Dr Homi Bhabha State University college.
• Students need to work very hard and bring some quality in them, then think about admission to any college of the University.
• All the four colleges of the University provide lots of facilities like Hostel facilities, gives the award. Students who have potential get the scholarship and other prizes as well. Every student aims to take admission in any of the four colleges. But it is a hard nut to crack.

HBSU Admission Entrance Exam

The number of seats is limited for all the courses in all colleges of the University. The Institute of Science, a renowned name all over the country, has just 300 seats for the PG courses. Therefore, getting admission to the PG course in the Institute of Science is a difficult task. Students have to full all criteria of the college before admission. It means only meritorious students can take admission in the PG courses of the ‘Institute of Science.’

The Elphinstone College is another noted college that comes under Dr Homi Bhabha State University. Admission to UG and PG courses is not a cup of tea for every student in this college. The number of seats is limited, so the competition is tough to enter UG or PG courses in the college.

The Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics and Secondary Training College is another two outstanding colleges of the University. Students need to be a well-qualified and thorough knowledge of the subjects for getting admission to these two prestigious colleges. So, all four colleges are maintaining a high standard. Only cream students can get admission to these premier institutes. Cut-throat competition has boosted the level of the students.
