Eligibility criteria of Tata Institute of Social Sciences

Final Tata Institute of Social Sciences Admission 2020 is offered on the basis of candidates’ performance.  On the basis of qualifying marks in TISS NET, candidates are called for a Written Test and Personal Interview.

Final year students are also eligible to apply

Ph.D.55% marks (50% for SC/ST & PWD) in Master’s degree or GPA of 3.5 in the discipline of Social Science and students must have five years of work experience
MA/ M.ScAny Graduate degree in Engineering, Architecture, Management, Physical Sciences, Geography, Planning, Law, or Social Sciences, with interest in habitat-related issues/sectors
M.Li.ScAny Bachelor’s degree
LL.MLL.B degree with a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST candidates) marks
