Gujarat Vidyapith Distance Education: The university was found in the year 1920 by the father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi. Gujarat Vidyapith is a deemed University since 1963. It is approved by the UGC for higher education programs. The University offers several courses like a Certificate in Music, Arts, and Craft, Diploma courses include Yoga, Computer Application, Hardware, and Network Technology as well as Philosophy and Social Sciences through distance learning. The student is going to be selected based on the Merit and availability of seats.

The admission form is available in the Online or Offline mode. For Online, The candidate must visit the official website to fill the application form. For Offline, The application form can be downloaded then duly filled and submitted with documents and fees through(DD) specified in the administrative office of the University.

Gujarat Vidyapith Distance Education Admission 2026-27

Gujarat Vidyapith is a university recognised by the UGC. It has UG programmes such as BSc, BSc, BSc, BS, BPES, BP.Ed. and BSc. The institution offers UG programmes. M.A., M.Ed., M.P.Ed., M.Lib.I.Sc., MSW, M.Sc., MCA and MBA are among PG's programmes. Courses like M.Phil, PhD, PGD and Certificate programmes are available. The duration of most UG programmes is three years. The B.Ed. The course lasts two years. The B.P.Ed. & B.Lib.I.Sc course lasts one year. With the exception of MCA and M.Lib.I.Sc, the PG programmes last two years.

Vocational Training (Audyogic Shikshan) shall receive the same importance as intellectual education and only such occupations as are conducive to the nation shall be taught.

The University has a  large Auditorium hall with LCD projects and the latest devices and having more capacity to sit students more than 250 at a time.
