The students can apply for a Certificate in English, Diploma in Sanskrit, MA English, MBA, and more programmes online. To earn admission into UG the students are required to possess HSC. However, PG aspirants will need to pass a bachelor's degree with 55% marks.

Those keen to get NOU Admission in Ph.D. will need to score a minimum of 65 % in a master's degree. Nalanda University MBA admission has been offered on a minimum score of 70 either in CAT, XAT, or MAT.

Nalanda University UG admission begins in students can apply for in English, Korean, and Sanskrit. Diploma aspirants can apply for language-driven programs such as Sanskrit, English, Pali, Tibetan, and Korean.

Nalanda University PG admission will start in language, literature, humanities, business & management, and science faculties. The students can apply to MA English, MA Sanatana Hindu Studies, MA Historical Studies, MA Buddhist Studies, MSC Environmental Studies, and MBA program. The minimum eligibility to get admission in a master’s degree program is a UG degree. The UG degree should be completed in the relevant stream from a UGC-approved university.

Admission to the master’s degree program will be offered on either merit or entrance of the university. Qualified students in CAT, XAT, or MAT can avoid university entrance tests and apply directly for admission in the Nalanda University MBA program.

Eligibility Criteria for Masters' program for Indian and International Students

The minimum criteria are 55% or 2.2/4.0 GPA or equivalent Grade Point Average(GPA) in Under Graduate Degree. Students from any stream i.e Humanities/Sciences/Engineering/Management/Law etc. can apply for any program, however, students may not apply for more than two programs.
