Kuvempu University is a public state university in Shimoga, Karnataka, India. It was established in 1987 by the act of the Karnataka state legislature through amendment No. 28/1976 dated 29 January 1989 under the Karnataka State University Act 1976.

Kuvempu University Scholarship

The University provides a scholarship for meritorious students. Those candidates who secure 75% and above marks in the 10+2 examination, as well as those who secure more than 70% marks in the entrance test, are getting a 10k rupees scholarship at an admission time.
