Indian Law Institute is located in Delhi and was established in 1956. The ILI provides various courses such as LL.M & PG and Diploma Programs in many streams. The University also offers online Certificates & P.hd courses in Law. Those candidate wants to take admission to LL.M and & Ph.D. courses. Candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of the University and making a payment of INR 3000 for Ph.D. as well as 2500 for an LL.M as application charges.

Indian Law Institute Delhi Admission Eligibility Criteria

  • To Apply for LLM Courses, Candidates must be got merit in the National Level Entrance examination conducted by Indian Law Institute such as ILI Common Admission Test (ILICAT).
  • Seeking to Admission in P.G Diploma Programs, The University is done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
  • Admission to Ph.D. programs is performed through a written test conducted by the Institute followed by Presentation and Interview.
  • M.Phil passed or UGC NET/ SLET or GATE qualified candidates are exempted from the Ph.D. admission Test. Such candidates have to appear in the interview round only.

Indian Law Institute Scholarship

Merit Scholarship: Indian Law Institute provides a scholarship of Rs. 30,000/ per year to the students admitted in ILI. The scholarship is provided the basis of the merit of the All India Admission Test. Only two students were admitted to the one-year LL.M Degree program. The scholarship is given to a student in 3 installments, First is Installment is given during  Admission time and 2nd & 3rd is given after the declaration of 1st and 2nd-semester result. The scholarship will be provided only if the candidate obtained GPA/CGPA of A Grade or above in the university examinations and maintain the good academic records

Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship: Indian Law Institute also offers the scholarship to the meritorious students admitted to one-year LL.M Degree programs. (condition if the student needs). The scholarship is decided by the Director after consideration of the committee. The University provides half of the tuition fee of the students.

Gold Medals to Meritorious Students: Gold medals instituted for various courses shall be awarded to deserving students at the Convocation. The Gold medal shall be awarded to the students with the highest CGPA/ marks in the course for which the gold medals are instituted. The student(s) to be eligible for the Gold Medal, must have cleared all courses in one attempt.
