Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology's placement cell liaisons with industry, management organization and research and development organizations, with the foresight of the training, projects, career guidance, and campus placement. The placement cell channelized feedback from the industry management organizations about academic programs to the institute. Placement cell functions to endeavor to be a part of students secure and safe future and safeguard the interest of the students.

Companies organizations have to register with the placement cell for the purpose of the internship and the placement.  The students get placed in the institute and get above salary package approximately seven to eight lakh per annum. The placement opportunities good bur mostly placement selection depends on the students obtains marks, activities, and knowledge. ISRO is the main which is hiring us due to the agreement that if we secure a CGPA greater than seven we have to work for ISRO for three years. If the student gets placed there we will recieve a bacsic pay twenty one thousand per month according to central govt scale. Students get something around seventy thousand will all the allowances.

The placement cell develops the skill which helps the students to get a good knowledge. The institute conducting the various activities for the placement of national and international conference, workshop, group discussion, seminar, aptitude test etc.
