Candidates for B.Ed must have graduated from a recognized university with a degree in any stream or field. From 1 September 2024, through 9 September 2024, Uluberia College in Howrah will be accepting applications for B.Ed (tentative). Following the conclusion of the admissions process, the merit list will be made available.

In addition to offering BA (Hons) programs with 6-specializations and BA (General) courses with 8-specializations, Uluberia College also provides B.Sc (Hons) courses with five disciplines and B.Sc General in four specializations. General programme and Hons, each lasting 3 years, as well as a 3-year B.Com(General and Hons) course. The institution also offers a 2-year BEd program as part of its curriculum.

Candidates for the BA and B.Com(Hons) programs must have completed the 10+2 grade level with at least 45-50% in either of their top four subjects (excluding Environmental Science),45% in all subjects, or 55% in the subject they are applying for admission in.

Candidates must have finished 10+2 grade level with not less than 50% in their top four courses, excluding Environmental Science, or minimum of 45-50% in honors subjects, or at least 

60% percent overall to be eligible for the admission B.Sc(Hons) program.

Each UG-level course offers admission based on last year's performance. The college creates a merit list for programme admission, and shortlisted applicants are required to satisfy the admission requirements.

For admission to any course and stream, candidates with a physical disability are offered a 5% relaxation.
