For Honors Programme 

Suryasen College offers admission to various honours degree programmes in BA, BSc, etc. Candidates who are willing to opt for Suryasen College 2024 in the honours degree programme must have completed their 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks or 60% marks in the subject in which the candidate wants to pursue their honours degree. Admission to the courses offered is done based on the merit list prepared considering the marks scored by the candidate in the qualifying examination.

According to West Bengal government regulations, applicants in the reserved category must present the actual papers issued in their favour by the relevant body. If the candidate doesn't provide the original documents when requested, they will be considered General Category. The candidate's fee will not be reimbursed in this scenario if they do not appear on the merit list created for the General Category.

Moreover, in terms of eligibility, a score of 54.5% or higher is equivalent to 55%, a score of 49.5% or higher is equivalent to 50%, and a score of 59.5 or higher is equivalent to 60%.

For Programme Courses

If a student or transgender person has passed in at least four (4) subjects excluding Environmental Studies English as a required subject in the Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination held by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or any other Examination that is recognised by the University as equivalent thereto then he/she/they shall be permitted to take admission in the Program Course of BA, B.Sc, or B.Com.

Once a candidate has completed the preliminary exam in topics from the vocational stream, he or she may continue with the BA, B.Sc, or B.Com programme course.
