The University grants admission on the various entrance examinations such as:

LUACCET: It is conducted for B.Com., and B.Sc. (Mathematics Group) courses to select eligible students.

LUACMAT: This entrance examination takes for some professional courses like: B.A.J.M.C., B.B.A., B.B.A.(Digital Business),B.B.A.-Tourism, B.C.A., and B.Com. Students need to clear this entrance exam to be admitted to any one of these courses.

The late Chandra Bhanu Gupta, the then-chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, founded the National Post Graduate College in 1974. The college, which has a beautiful green campus and is bordered by several important academic and administrative institutions, is located in the centre of the city, close to the banks of the Gomti River.

National P.G. College is the only college in a metropolis with 16 universities and more than 150 degree-granting institutions that have been granted the highest status of CPE (College with Potential for Excellence) and Autonomous Status. National PG College offers admission to various undergraduate degree programmes in the fields of science, arts, commerce, etc. These undergraduate degree programmes are generally 3 years and focus on teaching the essential aspects of the subjects which the students have chosen to study. Candidates willing to opt for National PG College Admission 2024 can submit the online registration form available on the official website of the college.

Having completed the 10+2 Grade level with a minimum cumulative GPA of 45% is required to be eligible to enrol for the BA programme. A minimum of 55% in the 10+2 grade level is required for admission to the B.Com, BCA, and B.Voc programmes. Before submitting their application, applicants for admission to the college must carefully read the prospectus. The following documents must be attached in self-attested copies:

  • Pass certificate and grade report from the eighth and twelfth grades, or equivalent.
  • results of the most recent exam passed.
  • Documentary evidence demonstrating that the applicant did not enrol in another college or university in 2024-2024 must be provided if the candidate completed his or her qualifying test in 2024 or earlier.
  • Notarized declaration attesting that the candidate is not implicated or being investigated or tried about any IPC provisions.
  • Character Certificate from the Institution's Head, from which the candidate received a passing grade on their most recent test as a regular candidate (original certificate shall have to be submitted at the time of counselling).
  • The Superintendent of Police, the District Magistrate, or a Gazetted Officer's Character Certificate must be submitted by applicants who completed their most recent test as private candidates. Before February 28, 2024, the certificate should not have been granted.
  • Applicants requesting admission to reserved seats are needed to submit an authenticated copy of their caste or CMO certificate. The candidate cannot receive any reservation advantages if the original certificate is not presented at the time of counselling.
  • Up to the deadline, applications that are fully submitted and include copies of all relevant documentation will be considered.
  • No admission form submitted after the deadline will be considered.
  • Applications that are not comprehensive won't be taken into consideration for admission.
  • Applicants who pass the entrance exam must go before the admissions committee for an interview and/or counselling with their parents or legal guardians.

National PG College Admission Guidelines 2024

Candidates who are willing to opt for National PG College Admission 2024 must comply with the admission guidelines issued by the college. Candidates who do not fulfil the guidelines issued by the college cannot apply for admission to the courses offered by the college.   • Applicants who completed their 10th-grade test before 2019 for undergraduate programmes and before 2016 for graduate programmes are not required to apply.
  • At the time of admission, applicants must present their original Character Certificate and Transfer Certificate.
  • Applicants seeking admission to the College's regular courses who are employed by the state government or in another organization must present a No-Objection Certificate from their employer or other appropriate authority.
  • Within three days of the deposit date, fees may be refunded; however, once three days have passed, refunds are not permitted.
  • Candidates who perform poorly on the semester examinations cannot get a fee refund.
